6. Montage et mise en service
Enlevez tous les emballages et bandes adhésives apposés comme sécurité de
transport à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la machine à glaçons.
Vérifiez tout dommage éventuel de la machine à glaçons suite au transport.
Avant la première utilisation, nettoyez toutes les pièces mobiles (panier à gla-
çons, pelle à glace) ainsi que l'appareil avec un chiffon doux légèrement humide.
Laissez toutes les pièces bien sécher.
Installez la machine à glaçons sur un support plan, antidérapant et résistant à la
chaleur.
Avant d'être mise en service, la machine à glaçons doit rester en position verti-
cale au moins 2 heures pour laisser reposer le réfrigérant, le compresseur de re-
froidissement risquerait sinon d'être endommagé.
L'appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.
L'appareil est entraîné par un moteur électrique. Il est possible qu'il dé-
gage une certaine odeur lors de la première mise en service. Ce dégage-
ment d'odeur est normal et ne signifie pas que l'appareil est défectueux.
Veillez simplement à bien aérer la pièce.
