Switch off the appliance, pull the plug from the socket and the connector plug
from the appliance (if applicable).
Undo the screws on the side of the appliance and open the housing.
Use wire cutters to cut the connecting wires of the battery and remove the
battery pack.
Dispose of the battery in an environmentally friendly manner (see below).
Packaging
The product has been packaged to protect it from damage in transit. The
packaging is made of materials that can be recycled in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Appliance
Old appliances should not be disposed of with the normal household
rubbish.
In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU, the appliance must be
properly disposed of at the end of its service life.
This involves separating the materials in the appliance for the purpose
of recycling and minimising the environmental impact.
Take old appliances to a collection point for electrical scrap or a
recycling centre.

Batteries
The appliance is fitted with a built-in lithium-ion battery. Within the EU
this symbol indicates that this product may not be thrown away with
the household refuse. Before disposing of the appliance, remove the
battery as described above.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the household rubbish. Batteries
must be properly disposed of. Retailers who stock batteries and local
authority collection points have appropriate disposal containers for
this purpose. You can contact your local waste disposal company or
municipal authorities for further information.
