16.5. Listen to music via AirPlay®
With AirPlay® you can transform your Internet radio into an output device for your
iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch® or audio content stored on a Mac® or computer running
iTunes®.
16.5.1. Connect iPhone®, iPad® or iPod®
Connect the external device to your network.
Pull the bar up from below and select AirPlay®.
Select your Internet radio: MEDION XXXXXXX (MAC address).
The Internet radio can now be used as an output device.
If you want to play back individual tracks from your external device via the Internet
radio, proceed as follows:
Choose a track.
Select the control centre icon in the iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® or in iTunes®.
Select the Internet radio MEDION XXXXXXX (MAC address).
Start playing the audio content on your iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch® or with
iTunes®.
Music playback on this Internet radio via AirPlay® is possible on the following
devices:
• a Wi-Fi-enabled PC or Mac® running OS/iTunes® 10.2.2 (or higher)
• iPhone®/iPod®/iPad® models running iOS 4.3.3 (or higher).
The following Apple® devices are also compatible:
iPhone® 6s Plus iPhone® 5s iPod touch® (6th generation)
iPhone® 6 Plus iPhone® 4s iPad mini™ 4
iPhone® SE iPad Pro® 2 iPad mini™ 3
iPhone® 6s iPad Air® 2 iPad mini™ 2
