POWER SUPPLY
Once it started up, the stove sets itself to ame level 3, and then increments (or decrements, depending on the settings) its power by one
value per minute.
There are three ame setting modes when the stove is running normally:
MANUAL
AUTOMATIC and with ECO STOP
To these we add brazier cleaning, which is run automatically by the stove as described below.
OPERATING MODE
The Giò stove has two operating modes: MANUAL and AUTOMATIC.
MANUAL mode allows you to set the ame power in relation to the ventilation setting (* see table in “Hot air ventilation”), and
ignores any room temperature readings. This mode is indicated by the text MAN on the control panel display.
The power levels correspond to a dierent value of fuel consumption, setting 5 heats the room in less time and setting 1 can keep the
temperature stable in smaller rooms.
use the button at the top left to select the MAN function (MANUAL Mode). In this mode you can use the button at the bottom left (F) to
adjust the 5 heat power values of the stove, while with the one at the bottom right (C) you can set the speed of the fans.
AUTOMATIC mode allows you to set the temperature in the room, and the stove automatically adjusts its power output to reach and
maintain the temperature setting. This mode is indicated by the text AUTO on the control panel display.
In this mode you can also use the advanced AUTO-ECO function, described below.
Every time the stove starts up, it automatically sets itself to the mode in which it was last switched o.
AUTOMATIC mode requires you to set the room temperature setpoint on the control panel.
The sensor on the back of the stove measures the room temperature, and the stove runs at the maximum power setting for the ventilation
until the temperature setting is reached.
When it is reached, the stove automatically reduces its output by one step a minute, util it reaches P1; it holds this setting so long as the
room temperature remains unchanged.
When the room temperature falls once more below the setpoint, the ame power rises again by one step a minute until it reaches
maximum power; it holds this setting until the room temperature equals the setpoint once more. The cycle repeats to maintain the room
temperature.
