Set-Up
When selecting the installation location for your device, avoid proximity to direct sunlight,
vibration, dust, hot and cold temperatures and dampness. Keep the device away from strong
transformers or motors.
When setting it up with other equipment, make sure that the appliance is well ventilated. Keep
a sufficient distance to heat sources. Do not place the mobile PA system directly next to heat
sources, such as an amplifier. Do not point any strong spotlights or light sources towards the
device. This may lead to overheating (risk of fire!).
Heat dissipation from the device must not be obstructed. Never place the device on soft
surfaces such as a carpet or a bed. Never cover the ventilation holes in the casing. Air
circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table cloths, curtains or
similar. This prevents heat dissipation from the device and can lead to overheating (risk of fire!).
Only operate the mobile PA system on a stable surface which is not sensitive to heat.
Make sure you position the appliance in a safe and stabile place, away from objects that might
might fall on it, thereby avoiding unwanted accidents.
Do not drill any additional holes or screw any additional screws into the casing to mount the
device. Hazardous live parts might be exposed.
Make sure that the connection cables are not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges. Always
install the cables so that no-one will trip over them or get caught in them. Risk of injury!
The cables must be of sufficient length. Avoid mechanical strain on the cables. This may
damage the cables or the device. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock.
When mounting the device on a stand, only use loudspeaker stands which are suitable for this
device’s load.
The device is heavy, so make sure that it is securely and stably mounted in order to avoid
accidents. Secure the device with additional fasteners, if applicable.
Due to the great variety of varnishes and polishes of furniture, the device feet might leave visible marks
on the furniture caused by chemical reactions. Therefore, the device should not be placed on valuable
furniture surfaces without suitable protection.
Place the mobile PA system on an even surface.
When using a loudspeaker stand, place the device on the stand with the speaker flange at the bottom of the
casing.
