1. Intended use
The product is used for the generation of sounds which you can play on keys. These are replayed on the
built-in loudspeakers. It is possible to connect headphones or an external amplifier.
Operation is only permissible in dry, indoor areas.
You can either operate the keyboard with 6 Mignon batteries (AA) or a suitable, stabilised plug-in power
unit (output: +9 V DC voltage, output current at least 350 mA, inner contact must conduct “+”).
Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to associated
risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt. Please
read the operating instructions thoroughly and keep the operating instructions for further reference.
2. Safety Instructions
We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury if the
product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper use or failure to observe these
operating instructions. The guarantee will then expire!
The exclamation mark points out important information in these operating instructions that
must be strictly adhered to.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE).
When connecting the keyboard to other devices, observe the safety instructions of those devices.
The keyboard must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration or
dampness.
If the device is used in a commercial context, the safety regulations applicable to electrical equipment
and relevant operating resources as laid down by the employers’ liability insurance association must be
observed.
In schools, training facilities, hobby and self help workshops the operation of electric devices has to be
responsibly supervised by trained personnel.
For sufficient ventilation, a distance of about 5 cm must be kept between the device and other objects.
Naked flame source or any containers with liquids must not be placed on or near the device.
Packaging material, such as plastic foil or bags, polystyrene parts etc., could become dangerous toy for
children. Never leave it lying around carelessly.
The keyboard must be placed on a level and sturdy surface.
The insulation of the entire product must not be damaged or destroyed. Never open the keyboard casing.
No object should be inserted into the air ventilation. There is risk of a fatal electric shock or destruction
of the device.
Servicing, adjustment or repair works must only be carried out by a specialist/ specialist workshop.
