Volume Control
Set the volume of the connected amplier to minimum.
Set the channel faders (3, 5 and 7) to minimum as well.
Start a connected playback device, e.g. a CD player. If this device has a volume control, set the volume to about
75% of the maximum level.
Slide the respective channel fader (3, 5 or 7) upwards to set the maximum volume of the respective channel. The
signal level can now be read from the level display (9). It should not exceed „0“ dB.
Set the desired volume for the remaining mixing desk channels the same way. All channels should have about the
same volume when cross-fading between the channels so that there are no great differences in the volume which
would otherwise require the output signal to be adjusted.
Now set the desired volume using the volume control on the amplier. Make sure that the sound is not distorted.
After you have made these settings, use only the LEVEL control of the amplier when you want to change the
playback volume.
Make sure that the connected speakers and the amplier are not overloaded. The sound should
never be distorted.
If there are any distorted music signals even though the volume on the amplier has not been
set too high and the mixer has been set correctly, switch off the mixer immediately and check the
connection. If the connection is correct, please contact a specialist.
Using Headphones
Before plugging the headphones in or out, putting them on or turning the mixing desk on or off,
please turn the headphone volume controls (17) to the left stop („00“ position)! There is a risk of
damage to your hearing through excessive volume at the headphones output.
The signal of the mixing desk output is given out through the headphones output.
The volume can be set with the volume control for headphones (17).
Cross-ading/Mixing
You can use the crossfader (18) to cross-fade/mix the signals of channels 1 and 2.
When the crossfader (18) is activated, one channel is faded out while the other channel is faded in. In centre
position, both fader channels are played equally.
