Het is van belang dat u uw arts regelmatig consulteert. Hij zal u
meedelen welke bloeddruk voor u normaal is en welke bijzonderheden
u hem dient mee te delen.
Hier volgen enkele handige adviezen, hoe u correcte meet-resultaten
behaald.
• Na een grote maaltijd dient u een uur te wachten alvorens uw
bloeddruk te meten.
• Rook niet en drink geen alcohol alvorens de bloeddruk te meten.
• Voor het meten dient u een uur lang geen lichamelijke arbeid te
verrichten.
• Het is van belang zich te ontspannen. U dient te trachten voor het
meten een kwartier te rusten.
• Meet uw bloeddruk niet wanneer u onder stress staat of gespannen
bent.
• Meet uw bloeddruk bij normale lichaamstemperatuur, niet als u het
te koud of te warm hebt.
• Wanneer het apparaat bij zeer koude temperaturen (nabij het
vriespunt) werd bewaard, deponeer het dan tenminste 1 uur lang op
een warme plaats alvorens het te gebruiken.
• Wacht ca. 5 minuten als u de bloeddruk opnieuw wilt meten.
