In dit geval kan het stuurwiel alsnog gedraaid worden, echter het sturen gaat dan
zwaarder dan normaal of het is mogelijk dat het stuurwiel tijdens het draaien trilt.

Als tijdens stilstand of uiterst langzaam rijden het stuurwiel bij herhaling naar
links en naar rechts gedraaid wordt, is het mogelijk dat de defectbeveiliging van
het stuurbekrachtigingssysteem in werking treedt waardoor het sturen zwaarder
wordt. Dit duidt echter niet op een probleem. Parkeer in dit geval de auto op een
veilige plaats en wacht enkele minuten totdat het systeem weer normaal werkt.
