Double tap – touching the surface twice with your fingertip

allows you to zoom in/out the webpage or a map. Double

tap also allows you to zoom in/out the image while viewing

it.

Pinch – gripping the touch screen surface between your

index finger and thumb allows you to zoom in/out the

image. This gesture is very useful while viewing maps or

photos.

STATUS AND NOTIFICATION BAR

Notifications that appear at the top of the screen (status

bar) notify you about certain features of the device (missed

phone calls, alarm clock, WiFi enabled, unread message,

new email, etc). See the illustration below:
