MasterShunt 500 – Gebruikers- en installatiehandleiding
Step 5. Optie: plaats een zekering. Zie paragraaf 4.4.
Step 6. Optie: sluit de MasterShunt 500aan op het CZone- of MasterBus-netwerk.
De MasterShunt 500 toevoegen aan een CZone-netwerk
1 Koppel de backbone los bij de dichtstbijzijnde backboneaansluiting en plaats een T-verbinding.
2 Sluit de backboneaansluiting(en) weer aan nadat de T-verbinding is geplaatst.
Als u de MasterShunt 500 aan het uiteinde van de backbone wilt toevoegen, moet u de terminator verwijderen, de
nieuwe T-verbinding plaatsen en de terminator aan de zijde van de stekker bevestigen.
3 Sluit de RJ45 CZone/MB-dropkabel aan op de zwarte koppeling op de T-verbinding en sluit hem vervolgens aan
op de MasterShunt 500.
De MasterShunt 500 toevoegen aan een MasterBus-netwerk
1 Koppel een MasterBus-kabel of terminator los van het dichtstbijzijnde MasterBus-apparaat en sluit die aan op de
MasterShunt 500.
2 Sluit de nieuwe MasterBus-kabel aan op het andere MasterBus-apparaat en sluit hem vervolgens aan op de
MasterShunt 500.
3 Zorg ervoor dat het netwerk correct is afgesloten.
Zie paragraaf 4.2 voor meer informatie over systeemintegratie.
Step 7. Controleer de volledige bekabeling. Als de bekabeling correct is aangesloten: sluit de positieve accukabel (weer) aan.
Step 8. Ga verder met hoofdstuk 5, INSTELLINGEN.
4.4 Een zekering binnenin plaatsen
De MasterShunt 500 is standaard uitgerust met een aansluitstrip. Als de MasterShunt 500 dichtbij de accu wordt geïnstalleerd,
kan die aansluitstrip worden vervangen door een zekering van het type ANL of een hoofdzekering van klasse T (500 A), wat
zowel ruimte als kosten bespaart. Een andere optie is om elders in het systeem een zekering te plaatsen.
Opmerking: Laat de geselecteerde zekering altijd controleren door gekwalificeerd personeel om smelten van de zekering
te voorkomen wanneer het systeem volledig in gebruik wordt genomen.
Voer de volgende procedure uit om de aansluitstrip te vervangen door een zekering:
Step 1. Koppel de elektrische voeding los:
Step 2. Verwijder de twee transparanten isolatiekappen.
Step 3. Ontgrendel en verwijder de bovenste behuizing.
