CONSERVE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES

Cuando utilice aparatos eléctricos deberá tomar siempre unas medidas básicas de seguridad,

incluidas las siguientes:

1. Lea todas las instrucciones.

2. No utilice la licuadora si el cable de alimentación está dañado.

3. No sumerja la unidad del motor en el agua ni en ningún otro líquido.

4. Use solo el émbolo suministrado. No introduzca nunca los dedos en el tubo de alimentación.

Desenchufe el aparato antes de retirar las obstrucciones del tubo de alimentación.

5. No toque las cuchillas pequeñas ubicadas en la base del cesto del filtro de acero inoxidable.

6. No toque las partes móviles.

7. Antes de usar la licuadora compruebe que está completamente montada correctamente. El

aparato no se pondrá en funcionamiento a menos que esté correctamente montado.

8. Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie seca y nivelada.

9. No permita que los niños o personas discapacitadas usen el aparato sin supervisión.

10. No permita que el cable de alimentación entre en contacto con superficies calientes o que

quede colgando en un lugar donde lo pueda agarrar un niño.

11. Antes de retirar la tapa, apague el aparato y espere a que el filtro se detenga.

12. No deje nunca el aparato sin vigilancia.

13. No permita que los niños jueguen con el aparato.

14. Desenchufe el aparato de la toma de corriente cuando no lo esté utilizando, antes de colocar o

retirar alguna de las piezas y antes de limpiarlo. Compruebe que el aparato está apagado ("0")

TO TAKE YOUR JUICER APART

· Reverse the assembly procedure to take the juicer apart.

HINTS

· Insert soft food slowly to get the most juice.

· Vitamins disappear - the sooner you drink your juice, the more vitamins you'll get.

· If you need to store the juice for a few hours put it in the fridge. It will keep better if you add a few

drops of lemon juice.

· Don't drink more than three 230mls (8 fl.oz.) glasses of juice a day unless you're used to it.

· Dilute juice for children with an equal amount of water.

· Juice from dark green (broccoli, spinach etc) or dark red (beetroot, red cabbage etc) vegetables is

extremely strong, so always dilute it.

· Fruit juice is high in Fructose (fruit sugar), so people with diabetes or low blood sugar should avoid

drinking too much.

· Don't mix fruit and vegetable juice together (apart from apple and carrot), it can cause painful wind

or bloating.

CLEANING

Before cleaning, unplug your juicer.

· If the filter basket is too tight to remove, wait a few minutes until it loosens up.

· We don't recommend washing any of the parts in the dishwasher.

· Some foods, eg carrot, will discolour the plastic. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil helps

remove discolouring.

MOTOR UNIT

· Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.

· Wash, then dry.

FILTER BASKET

· Clean using a soft brush.

· Check the filter regularly for signs of damage. Do not use if the filter is damaged.

· Wash in hot soapy water, then dry.
