RestoringSettings-WARNINGALLAMP&

Torestore the unit to factory settings (see handbook
rearcover)youmustholdtheStoreswitch(12)while
poweringontheunit.The Clean/Crunch (3) and OD (5)
lightswilllightorange.You can then release the Store
switch(12).
ResettingtheamplifierwillerasealluserChannel
presetsandalluserFootcontrollersettings,replacing
themwiththefactorypresets.
ChannelSelection
Theamplifierhas4channels-Clean,Crunch,OD1&
OD2.
PressingtheClean/Crunchswitch(3)selectsbetween
theClean(GreenLight)andCrunch(RedLight)
channels.
PressingtheODswitch(5)selectsbetweentheOD1
(GreenLight)andOD2(RedLight)channels.
WhenmovingfromanODchanneltoaClean/Crunch
channel,theunitremembersthelastchannelyouwere
inbeforeleaving.E.g.Ifyouhavemovedfromthe
CrunchChanneltoanODchannelandyoupressthe
Clean/Crunchswitch(3),theamplifierwillrevertbackto
theCrunchchannel-ratherthanstartingagaininthe
Cleanchannel.
Modes
Theamplifieroperatesintwomodes-Presetand
Manual.
Tochange between these two modes, you must hold
theTapswitch(10)downforatleasttwoseconds.
WheninmanualmodetheStoreswitch(12)lightsred
andtheselectedchannellight(3or5)willstarttoflash.
Theamplifierwillrememberthelastmodeitwasinafter
poweroffand revert to it the next time it is powered on.
Preset
Thisisthefactorydefaultoperationoftheamplifier.
InPresetmodethepositionofallcontrolsexcept
MasterVolume (13) are stored within each channel.
Eachchannelshouldbeconsideredapreset.
Selectingachannelautomaticallyrecallsthesettings
storedwithinthechannel.Note:The physical position of
thefrontpanelcontrols,exceptMasterVolume (13)
whichisnotstorable,willnownotmatchtheactual
settingsoftheamplifier.All front panel switches will
automaticallyupdate.
Alteringacontrolwillcausetheassociatedparameterto
jumptothecurrentphysicalpositionofthatcontrol.
Whenacontrolisalteredtheselectedchannellight(3
or5)willstarttoflashindicatingthatthecurrentpreset
hasbeenaltered.
Tostore the updated settings, push the Store switch
(12).
IfyouselectanotherchannelwithoutpressingStore
(12)thenanyalteredsettingswillbelostasthenew
channelanditssettingsarerecalled.
Manual
Inmanualmodetheamp’ssettings always match the
physicalpositionsofthecontrols.
Changingchannelonlychangesthechannel,NO
presetsarerecalled,NOothercontrolsarealtered.
PressingStore(12)willstorethecurrentsettingsinto
theselectedchannel.These can then be recalled when
usingtheunitinPresetmode.
Whenchannelsettingshavebeenstoredthecurrent
channellight(3or5)willstopflashingindicatingthe
presethasbeensaved.
Reverb&FX
Theamplifierprovidestwosimultaneouseffects,
ReverbandoneoffourFXs(Chorus,Phaser, Flanger
orDelay)

TheReverbcontrol(8)setstheamountofsignalsentto
thereverbsection-allowingthereverbtospillbetween
channelsasdifferentpresets are recalled. When the
Reverbcontrol(8)issetto‘0’the reverb is switched off,
thestatusofthereverbisalsoindicatedontheoptional
footcontroller.
FX
TheFXcontrolissplitintofoursegmentsandselects
thetypeofFXandadjustsitsassociatedsettings.
WhentheFXcontrolissetto‘0’the FX are switched
off,the status of the FX is also indicated on the optional
footcontroller.
TapTempo
TheTapTemposwitch(10)isusedfortheDelayeffect
only.
TheTapTemposwitchmatchesthedelaytimetothe
timebetweentwopresses.
TheTapTempoLEDflashesredatthe
selected/recalleddelaytime.
Thenumberofrepeatsisreducedasthedelaytime
decreases.
Ifyouchangefromachannelwithdelaytoonewithout
delaytheeffectwill spill between channels.
Ifyouchangefromachannelwithdelaytoachannel
withdelaysettoadifferentdelay time the delay effect
willnotspillbetweenchannels.
MP3/LineIn
The3.5mmMP3/LineInsocket(14)allowsthe
connectionofanexternalaudiosourcee.g.MP3orCD
player.
Headphones
The3.5mmHeadphonessocket(16)allowsthe
connectionofapairofheadphones.Whenajackis
insertedintotheheadphonessockettheunit’sspeaker
ismuted.
