full all your performance needs.
4x12” mono/stereo switching facilies
To ensure maximum exibility, some of our 4x12” cabinets boast a mono/
stereo switching system on the back. When ‘stereo’ mode is selected, the
cabinet is split into two 8Ω ‘halves’ for use with a stereo amp. When ‘mono
is selected you are offered two different impedance inputs (4Ω or 16Ω)
to choose from. Always ensure you select the correct one to match the
impedance of your amplier and never use both inputs at the same time when
the cabinet is in ‘mono’ mode.
Single mono input
Some cabinets are tted with a single mono input socket. With this cabinet the
impedance and power rating are xed.
Use a suitable speaker cable to plug your guitar amplier into this socket.
Ensure the impedance and power handling of the cabinet is compatible with
your chosen amplier.
1) Mono/stereo selecon switch. Selects either stereo or mono mode.
2) Right input. When switch (1) is set to:
i) Stereo, this provides connection to the right* side pair of speakers. Rated
at 8Ω.
ii) Mono, this provides connection to all four speakers. Rated at 4Ω.
3) Le input. When switch (1) is set to:
i) Stereo, this provides connection to the left* side pair of speakers. Rated
at 8Ω.
ii) Mono, this provides connection to all four speakers. Rated at 16Ω.
*Right and le refer to the two stereo sides of the cabinet as seen when facing
the front of the cab.
2x12” stereo selecon facilies
Some of our 2x12” cabinets are tted with a mono/stereo selection plate on the
back. This enables you to split the cabinet into two halves for use with a stereo
set-up if you desire.
Mono usage: Use the input marked mono (1), the impedance of which is clearly
indicated above the jack.
Stereo usage: Use both inputs (1 and 2). Once again the impedance of each is
clearly marked.
