14. INTERRUPTOR DE STANDBY
Este interruptor se utiliza junto al
interruptor de encendido POWER
(elemento 15 de abajo) para “calentar” el
amplificador antes de usarlo y prolongar
la vida de las válvulas de salida. Cuando
encienda el amplificador, active primero
el interruptor de encendido POWER,
dejando el interruptor de Standby en la
posición STANDBY (0).
De este modo se permite aplicar la
tensión requerida para calentar las
válvulas hasta su valor de temperatura
correcto. Después de unos dos minutos,
las válvulas llegarán a la temperatura
de funcionamiento correcta, por lo que
ya se puede conectar el interruptor
STANDBY (1).
Para prolongar la vida de las válvulas, se
deberá utilizar el interruptor STANDBY
para apagar y encender el amplificador
en los descansos de las actuaciones.
15. POWER/ENCENDIDO
Es el interruptor de encendido y
apagado de la conexión del amplificador
a la red eléctrica. El interruptor
se ilumina en rojo cuando está
encendido. Es necesario asegurarse
de que el amplificador esté apagado o
desconectado de la red eléctrica antes
de moverlo.
