5.4 Plaatsing van de IR Module
Plaats de IR Module op een bereikbare plaats achter of naast uw A/V
apparaten, en in de buurt van een stopcontact.
x Houd rekening met de draadlengte van de IR LED’s en de IR
Ontvanger.
x Let er op dat de aansluitingen voor installatie toegankelijk blijven.
5.5 Aansluiten van de IR Module
1. Sluit de geïnstalleerde IR Verlengkabels aan op “IR OUT” aansluiting
van de IR Module.
2. Zet uitsluitend de schakelaars van de IR Module in de BLASTER stand
als daarop een IR verlengkabel met één blaster LED is aangesloten.
Laat in alle andere gevallen de schakelaar in de EMITTER stand staan.
LET OP: Een verkeerde keuze tussen deze twee standen kan schade
aan de IR LED’s veroorzaken waardoor deze defect kunnen raken.
3. Sluit de geïnstalleerde IR Ontvangerkabel aan op de “IR RCVR”
aansluiting van de IR Module.
4. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de “12VDC” aansluiting van de IR
Module en plug deze in een stopcontact.
5.6 Test de werking van het product
1. Als de IR Control 10/11 XTRA™ juist is aangesloten dan knippert het
lampje op de IR Ontvanger als u een knop van de (infrarood)
afstandsbediening in drukt en deze op de IR Ontvanger richt.
2. Sluit de deurtjes van uw kastje en voorkom dat de A/V apparatuur ook
direct van de afstandsbediening een infrarood commando kunnen
ontvangen, dit kan namelijk tot bedieningsproblemen leiden.
3. U kunt nu uw A/V apparatuur bedienen via de IR Control 10/11 XTRA™
door gesloten kast deurtjes heen!
Indien de IR Control 10/11 XTRA niet op juiste manier reageert
experimenteer dan met de plaatsing van de IR Ontvanger en/ of IR
Verlengkabels (emitter of blaster). Een andere plaatsing kan een beter
eindresultaat opleveren.
