To select Tuner, press the TUNER button on the
remote control unit.
The Tuner function can be selected by
pressing the FUNCTION button on the
main unit.
Make sure the antennas have been
connected.
2.
To change the Tuning mode (Tune modes are
Tuning mode and Preset mode), press the
TUNE MODE button on the remote control unit.
When unit is in the Preset mode, PRESET
indicator appears on the front display.
If PRESET indicator is lit, press the
TUNE
MODE button to change the manual tuning
mode.
3.
To select the desired band (FM or AM), press
the 2/BAND button on the remote control unit.
The bands are switched by pressing the 2/
BAND button between FM and AM band.
4.
Press 4 or ¢ button to tune in the desired
station manually.
Press 4 or ¢
button for 2 seconds or
more, automatic searching begins then
stops when a station is tuned in.
If tuning does not stop at the desired station,
try to the manual tuning.
When 4 or ¢
button is pressed
momentarily, the frequency changes by a
fixed step.
(ER2500U)
FM : 100 kHz steps
AM : 10 kHz steps
(ER2500S)
FM : 50 kHz steps
AM : 9 kHz steps
Press 4 or ¢
button repeatedly until the
station you want to listen to is found.
FM MODE button
Pressing this button alternates between Stereo
mode and Monaural mode.
Stereo
FM stereo broadcasts are received in
stereo and the STEREO indicator lights
on the front display.
Mono To compensate for weak FM stereo
reception, select this mode. Reception
will now be forced monaural, reducing
unwanted noise.
PRESET MEMORY OPERATION
This unit can store up to total 30 stations selected in
the FM and AM bands.
Auto preset memory
This allows a band to be scanned automatically, a
station with good reception to be found and to be
stored in the preset memory

If no buttons are pressed for 5 seconds, the

Tuning mode

7. To store the preset channel, press the ; /
MEMORY button.
The frequency of the radio station is stored
in the preset channel memory.
8. Repeat step 3 and 7 for store more stations.
