Registering a new password
You must register a password before you can change the
Parental Lock level or enter a Country Code.
1 Select ‘Password’.

Parental Lock: Register Code Number
SETUP
2 Use the number buttons to enter a 4-digit password.
It’s also possible to use the cursor buttons to set the password
((

) to set the number; (

) to change the cursor
position).
3 Press ENTER to register the password.
If you forget your password, you can reset the system then
register a new one. See page 178 for how to reset the player.
Changing your password
To change your password, confirm your existing password
then enter a new one.
1 Select ‘Password Change’.
2 Use the number buttons to enter your existing password.

The numbers appear as asterisks as you enter them.

It’s also possible to use the cursor buttons to set the password

) to set the number; (

) to change the cursor
position).
3 Press ENTER.
4 Enter a new password.
5 Press ENTER.
Setting/changing the Parental Lock level
1 Select ‘Level’.
2 Use number buttons to enter your password, then
press ENTER.
3 Select a new level.
Move leftward to lock more levels (more discs will require the
password); rightward to unlock levels. You can’t lock level 1.

Si vous avez oublié votre mot de passe, vous pouvez réinitialiser le
système et en enregistrer un nouveau. Voir page 178 pour savoir
comment réinitialiser le lecteur.
Changement du mot de passe
Pour changer votre mot de passe, confirmez votre mot de
passe existant et introduisez-en ensuite un nouveau.
1 Sélectionnez “PasswordChange”.
2 Utilisez les touches numériques pour introduire votre
mot de passe actuel.

Les chiffres apparaissent sous la forme d’astérisques lorsque
vous les introduisez.

Vous pouvez également utiliser les touches de curseur pour
isaisir le mot de passe ((

) pour saisir le numéro, (

3 Appuyez sur ENTER.
4 Introduisez un nouveau mot de passe.
5 Appuyez sur ENTER.
Réglage/changement du niveau de
blocage parental
1 Sélectionnez “Level”.
2 Utilisez les touches numériques pour introduire votre
mot de passe et appuyez ensuite sur ENTER.
3 Sélectionnez un nouveau niveau.
Allez vers la gauche pour verrouiller davantage de niveaux
(davantage de disques nécessiteront un mot de passe) ou vers la
droite pour déverrouiller des niveaux. Vous ne pouvez pas
verrouiller le niveau 1.
