4.7.2 Deadman mode, activate/deactivate (Step 1)
In deadman mode, a roll-up grille, for example, can only be operated by using
the "Open door"/"Close door" direction buttons or via the "Button" input.
The key switch must be set to the black position. When operating the door in
deadman mode, the safety devices connected to the control unit are not
evaluated.
Remote control is not possible. For safety reasons, all the wireless transmitter
program data is deleted when deadman mode is activated, and wireless
transmitters cannot be programmed in.
To activate (the safety LED flashes slowly) or deactivate deadman mode,
press the "Menu" button twice and then press the "Function" button.

Installation and initial operation
The "Menu" button is used to select the menus (1 to 4). The "Function" button
is used to select a value or a function (A, B) in a menu.
To call up the menu required, press the "Menu" button repeatedly until the
corresponding LED lights up. Within the menu, parameters are selected in the
same manner. After the last menu item, the control unit returns to the normal
operating state.
We recommend that you follow the sequence described in Chapter 4.1. This
means that the safety devices must always be connected and configured first,
unless the controls are to be used only in deadman mode. The motor running
time can then be programmed and the running time tolerance can be set. The
programming of wireless hand transmitters is the final step in
the configuration process.
