Mounting of fixing angles
5.1 Mounting angle of post
Take values for 'a' and 'b' according to actual measure 'e' (from building) from table 4 resp. 5,
also depending on the width of wings resp. on the largest possible opening angle of door. These
values are basic values, which have not to be kept exactly, but they guarantee a door opening
angle of 90°. Interpolate missing intermediate values.
If measure e
max.
(maximum installation measure, which depends on building) is above the
indicated values, the door operator has to be embedded into the wall by using mounting angle.
Install the mounting angle of post according to above measures.
Steel post: Drill hole ø 6,8 and cut winding M8. Alternatively the angle may be toweld to
the post.
Wall: Drill hole ø 10, insert dowel and screw on the angle.
5.2 Mounting angle of door
Determine the fixing points on the doors. For this, fix the door angle first provisionally to the
door wing (e.g. by using a clamp) according to distance 'd' - see picture 4. Drill only after exact
determination of the angle.
5.3 - 5.4 Mounting of the operator
Select the necessary drill hole of the 9-hole fixing angle, insert plastic friction bearing (A), push
the forked mounting device (B) of the hinged door operator onto the mounting angle of the
post and insert screw. Check the position of the door angle when door is closed and the carriage
is nearly pulled out (status when supplied). Connect the operator to the door angle.
Operate the emergency unlocking device and travel to door 'open' position. After checking the
end of travel positions, drill holes in door wings (drill bit ø 10, for steel wings ø 6,8 and additio-
nally threading M8) and screw on the door angle. Screw hexagonal nut M10 on connecting
angle so far, that the screw can be turned with slight resistance on the forked mounting device.

Use of the emergency unlocking device:
Turn the red notched lever (C) by 90°. Operator is disconnected from door and the door can be
moved manually. Engagement is possible in any position: turn notched lever again, the motor
can be operated until the drive engages into the carriage.
If necessary, you can put a padlock through the drill holes of the carriage (E) in order to prevent
the door from being unlocked by unauthorized persons.
6.1 To turn the carriage unit, disconnect the operator from the door angle (thus unlocking from
front side is possible). For easier adjustment the operator can be folded upwards round the
hinged bolt.
6.2 Disconnect the operator as indicated above.
6.3 Remove lock plate. Take out bolt upwards and pull out the carriage insert to the front.
