Acción del interruptor (Fig. 4)
PRECAUCIÓN:
Antes de enchufar la herramienta, compruebe siem-
pre que el interruptor deslizante opere correctamente
y retorna a la posición ‘‘OFF’’ cuando se presiona.
Para poner en funcionamiento la herramienta, mueva
el interruptor deslizante hacia adelante, y el interrup-
tor deslizante se bloqueará en la posición ‘‘ON’’. Para
parar, presione un poco la parte posterior del inter-
ruptor deslizante y retornará a la posición ‘‘OFF’’.
Operación (Fig.5y6)
Conecte la herramienta y ajuste los extremos fron-
tales de las cuchillas laterales en la pieza de trabajo.
Entonces, mueva simplemente la herramienta hacia
adelante, manteniendo ambas cuchillas niveladas
con la superficie de la pieza de trabajo.
PRECAUCIÓN:
Cuando corte una pequeña parte de la pieza de
trabajo, podrá tener dificultad en completar el
extremo del corte. En este caso, intente de nuevo el
corte tirando de la pieza de trabajo un poco hacia
atrás.

Asegu´rese siempre de que la herramienta esté
desconectada y desenchufada antes de realizar nin-
guna reparacio´n en ella.
Substitución de los cepillos de carbono
(Fig.7y8)
Substituya los cepillos de carbón cuando estén des-
gastados hasta la marca del límite. Los dos cepillos
de carbono idénticos deberían ser substituidos al
mismo tiempo.
Reemplazo de las cuchillas
La vida de servicio de las cuchillas varía dependiendo
de la pieza de trabajo a cortar. Las siguientes tablas
de referencia indican la vida de servicio aproximada
de las cuchillas. Cuando las cuchillas se desafilen,
solicite a un centro autorizado Makitaoauncentro de
servicio autorizado que le reemplace las cuchillas.
