Pulltheswitchtriggertolightupthelamp.Thelamp

keepsonlightingwhiletheswitchtriggerisbeingpulled.

Thelampgoesoutapproximately10secondsafter

releasing the switch trigger.

NOTE:

Whenthetoolisoverheated,thetoolstopsauto-

maticallyandthelampstartsashing.Inthiscase,release

theswitchtrigger.Thelampturnsoffinoneminute.

NOTE:Useadryclothtowipethedirtoffthelensof

thelamp.Becarefulnottoscratchthelensoflamp,or

itmaylowertheillumination.

Reversing switch action

CAUTION: Always check the direction of

rotation before operation.

CAUTION: Use the reversing switch only after

the tool comes to a complete stop. Changing the

directionofrotationbeforethetoolstopsmaydam-

age the tool.

CAUTION: When not operating the tool,

always set the reversing switch lever to the neu-

tral position.

Thistoolhasareversingswitchtochangethedirection

ofrotation.Depressthereversingswitchleverfromthe

AsideforclockwiserotationorfromtheBsideforcoun-

terclockwise rotation.

Whenthereversingswitchleverisintheneutralposi-

tion,theswitchtriggercannotbepulled.

Speed change

CAUTION: Always set the speed change lever

fully to the correct position.Ifyouoperatethe

toolwiththespeedchangeleverpositionedhalfway

betweenthe"1"sideand"2"side,thetoolmaybe

damaged.

CAUTION: Do not use the speed change lever

while the tool is running.Thetoolmaybedamaged.

Adjusting the fastening torque

Thefasteningtorquecanbeadjustedin22levelsbyturningtheadjustingring.Alignthegraduationswiththearrow

onthetoolbody.Youcangettheminimumfasteningtorqueat1andmaximumtorqueat

marking.

Theclutchwillslipatvarioustorquelevelswhensetatthenumber1to21.Theclutchdoesnotworkat

the marking.

Beforeactualoperation,driveatrialscrewintoyourmaterialorapieceofduplicatematerialtodeterminewhich

torquelevelisrequiredforaparticularapplication.

Thefollowingshowstheroughguideoftherelationshipbetweenthescrewsizeandgraduation.

asitwillgo.Turnthesleeveclockwisetotightenthe

chuck.Toremovethedriverbit/drillbit,turnthesleeve

counterclockwise.

Thehookisconvenientfortemporarilyhangingthetool.

Thiscanbeinstalledoneithersideofthetool.Toinstall

thehook,insertitintoagrooveinthetoolhousingon

eithersideandthensecureitwithascrew.Toremove,

loosenthescrewandthentakeitout.
