• Allow the appliance to warm up for 15 minutes without any food in the basket.
• The first time you use the appliance there may be a small amount of smoke and a specific smell. This is
normal and will soon disappear. Ensure there is adequate ventilation.
Cooking / Frying
• Place the appliance on a at, stable surface, in a place where it cannot fall over.
• Turn the temperature dial to the desired temperature and turn the time dial to 3 minutes to switch the
appliance on (the indication lights will light up) and allow it to warm up.
Caution; the appliance and frying basket will be hot. Act carefully to avoid injury.
•
Remove the frying basket from the machine by the handle [3] and place it on a stable, horizontal, at surface.
•
Place the crisper into the frying basket [4].
•
Place foodstuffs into the frying basket [5]. Caution: Never ll the frying basket above the MAX indicator.
•
Do not ll the frying basket with oil or other liquids.
•
Insert the frying basket back into the appliance until you hear a click. [6].
• Set the temperature dial to the desired setting [7]. The temperature indication light will light up and go out
when the temperature set has been reached.
• Set the time dial [8] according to the type of food. The time indication light will light up and the timer will start.
The appliance will begin to operate and will stop automatically when the timer reaches 0.
• It is recommended to occasionally remove the frying basket [9] during cooking so food items can be shaken [10],
wherebv all items will be evenly browned on all sides. The timer will continue but the heating process will pause
until the frying basket is replaced.
• Caution: Prevent burn injuries. Do not touch the frying basket; it is very hot. When removing the frying basket
use a heatproof stand or coaster and kitchen gloves for extra support.
• The time switch will activate (bell) once the set time has passed. The appliance will stop heating and both
indication lights will switch off. Use the handle to remove the frying basket from the appliance and place the
frying basket on a stable, horizontal, at heat-resistant surface.
