Check and move track markers
Before burning the audio to CD, it is best to check and make sure that the track
markers are in the right places. The Export section is helpful for this because it
provides a clear list of all the track markers under "Tracks & Names". Here the
markers can be adjusted, moved or even deleted. The ID3 Editor (view page 97) can
be used f
or detailed editing of the track markers and names.
To adjust the track markers directly in the track window, move the position line using
the skip button on the transport console (or Alt + Arrow keys) from marker to marker
and play back the audio from that point. If the marker is unnecessary or incorrectly
positioned, you can click on it and delete it or move it using the mouse.
Change song order
Sometimes it is necessary to change the song order. There are different possibilities
for doing this: One option is to split the material into separate objects and arrange
them as you like by using the second track (view page 135) as a clipboard for the
objects.
Note: MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab 2014 does not have a second track. Here you can
cut an object (Ctrl + X) and paste it at the desired position (Ctrl + V).
The second option is more straightforward and can be used when you have already
assigned track markers. Using this method you can sort the tracks in the export
section, in the Tracks & Names (view page 96) view or in the ID3 Editor (view page
97) (Markers / Positions). In this case ob
jects may be split automatically.
Tip: For faster sorting directly in the track you can drag a track marker ahead of or
behind another track marker. This will regroup the corresponding objects in the
track.
