16. General Installation Instruction
Chimney Cooker hoods

(B1) Via an exhaust air shaft through the house roof
(B2) Laterally through the house wall to the
outside.
1. Hold the hood suspension plate 1a against the wall,
mark the holes with a pencil, drill the holes, insert plugs
and screw the hood suspension plate securely to the
wall and hang the hood on the hooks 1b (1c)
2. By turning clockwise connect the exhaust air hose 2a
between the one-way valve 2b and exhaust air hose
(Figs. B1 & B2)
3. Fix strut 3a with screws 3b to the chimney shaft;
mount chimney shaft 3c together with telescopic shaft
3d to the hood 3e and fix with screws 3f.
4. Screw mounting bracket 4a with plugs and screws to
the wall at the desired height; pull out telescopic shaft as
far as the mounting bracket and fix to the mounting
bracket with screws 4b.
Attention! Install carbon filter (A1) only with circulating
air mode
Same procedure as described under the following
chapter B. However, omit step 2.
In addition fit the carbon filter(s) A2 before mounting the
grease filter (Fig. A1)
5. Connect appliance cable to the mains supply and fit
grease filter A2.
1. Clean the environment thoroughly prior to installation in order that no dust or building waste can be drawn in.
2. The exhaust air hose must not be routed through a shaft together with gas pipes, hot air air pipes etc.
3. The exhaust air hose must be routed as straight as possible away from the hood or with a maximum bend outwards of
120° and fixed to the external wall.
4. To avoid grease accumulations in corners, on installation make sure that the hood hangs horizontally.
