L'esempio seguente configura una manopola o uno fader in modo che funzioni entro un range limitato (da 38 a 93):
1. Premere il pulsante Edit.
2. Premere il pulsante Select o il tasto Control Select (Ctrl Sel).
3. Selezionare un controllo così come descritto in precedenza nella presente guida.
4. Premere il tasto Assegna comando (Ctrl Asgn).
5. Digitare 7 servendosi dei tasti numerici. Ciò assegna il MIDI CC numero 7 (Volume) alla rotella, alla manopola o
al fader.
6. Premere il tasto Data 2 (dati 2).
7. Digitare 38 servendosi dei tasti numerici.
8. Premere il tasto Data 3 (dati 3).
9. Digitare 93 servendosi dei tasti numerici.
10. Premere il tasto Invio.
NOTA: il funzionamento delle monopole, ruota, e degli fader può essere invertito, anche se il range operativo è
limitato. Ciò si ottiene immettendo un valore più elevato per il parametro Data 2 e uno più basso per il parametro
Data 3.
Assegnazione dei messaggi RPN/NRPN a una manopola, ruota, uno fader, un pulsante o
un pedale
L'Oxygen 61 consente la trasmissione dei tre messaggi MIDI CC necessari per RPN ed NRPN muovendo
semplicemente una manopola, un fader o una rotella oppure premendo un tasto o il pedale sustain.
• L'impostazione "Control Assign" consente l'assegnazione per il controllo dei parametri RPN Coarse (132) e
RPN Fine (133), nonché dei parametri NRPN Coarse (134) e NRPN Fine (135).
• L'impostazione Data 1 consente di specificare quale numero MIDI CC è inviato per alterare valori (solitamente:
Coarse=CC 6; Fine=CC 38).
• L'impostazione Data 2 definisce quale valore viene inviato per LSB (RPN: CC 100, NRPN: CC 98) mentre
l'impostazione Data 3 definisce quale valore viene inviato per MSB (RPN: CC 101, NRPN: CC 99). Insieme, i
valori LSB e MSB specificano il parametro RPN/NRPN da modificare.
• Assegnando una manopola, una rotella o un fader per controllare un RPN/NRPN su un dispositivo hardware o
software collegato occorre specificare quattro valori.
• Assegnando un tasto o il pedale sustain per controllare un RPN/NRPN su un dispositivo hardware o software
collegato occorre specificare tre valori.
L'esempio seguente assegna un produttore a uno specifico messaggio approssimato NRPN (134) a un controllo
sulla tastiera Oxygen 61:
1. Premere il pulsante Edit.
2. Premere il pulsante Select o il tasto Control Select (Ctrl Sel).
3. Selezionare una manopola, un fader, una rotella, un tasto o il pedale sustain così come descritto in
precedenza nella presente guida.
4. Premere il tasto Assegna comando (Ctrl Asgn).
5. Digitare 134 (NRPN Coarse) servendosi dei tasti numerici.
6. Premere il tasto Data 1.
7. Inserire 6 servendosi dei tasti numerici (o del MIDI CC).
8. Premere il tasto Data 2.
9. Inserire il valore da trasmettere tramite MIDI CC 98 (LSB) servendosi dei tasti numerici.
10. Premere il tasto Data 3.
11. Inserire il valore da trasmettere tramite MIDI CC 99 (MSB) servendosi dei tasti numerici.
12. Premere il tasto Invio.
Ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica
Le impostazioni di fabbrica sono richiamabili tenendo premuto i pulsanti - e + all'accensione. A questo punto, tutti i
dati salvati in precedenza saranno cancellati.
