Der Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim ist abgestimmt auf Loewe Flat-TV-

Geräte sowie Loewe Audiosysteme.

Das Audiosystem ist dabei individuell ausbaubar von einer einfachen Stereo

Kombination bis hin zur hochwertigsten Surround-Sound Lösung mit vier Refe-

rence Sound Standspeaker Slim und Loewe Subwoofer Highline.

Ihr Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim bietet Ihnen eine hohe Klangqualität

und Reinheit bei der Musikwiedergabe. Dies wird durch eine spezielle Membran-

Technik mit ultra leichten Folien realisiert.

Entsorgung

Verpackung und Karton

Für die Entsorgung der Verpackung haben wir entsprechend den nationalen Ver-

ordnungen ein Entgelt an beauftragte Verwerter entrichtet, die die Verpackung

vom Fachhändler abholen. Dennoch empfehlen wir, den Originalkarton und

das Verpackungsmaterial gut aufzubewahren, damit das Gerät im Bedarfsfall

optimal geschützt transportiert werden kann.

Das Gerät

Achtung: Die EU-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG regelt die ordnungs-

gemäße Rücknahme, Behandlung und Verwertung von

gebrauchten Elektronikgeräten.

Elektronische Altgeräte müssen deshalb getrennt entsorgt wer-

den. Werfen Sie dieses Gerät zur Entsorgung bitte nicht in den

normalen Hausmüll! Sie können Ihr Altgerät kostenlos an aus-

gewiesene Rücknahmestellen oder ggf. bei Ihrem Fachhändler

abgeben, wenn Sie ein vergleichbares neues Gerät kaufen.

Weitere Einzelheiten über die Rücknahme (auch für Nicht-EU

Länder) erhalten Sie von Ihrer örtlichen Verwaltung.

Reinigen

Es ist möglich, dass sich auf der Oberﬂ äche des Standlautsprechers Abdrücke

des Verpackungsmaterials abzeichnen. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um eine

Beschädigung der Oberﬂ äche. Diese Abdrücke lassen sich mit einer Lösung aus

etwas Spülmittel und Wasser und einem damit befeuchteten weichen Tuch (z.B.

Microfaser) problemlos entfernen.

Reinigen Sie die Aluminium Oberﬂ äche des Reference Sound Lautsprecher-Sy-

stems nur mit einem leicht angefeuchtetem, weichen und sauberen Tuch (ohne

jedes scharfe Reinigungsmittel).

Aufgrund von elektrostatischer Auﬂ adung kann sich Staub auf der Lautspre-

cherabdeckung absetzten. Diesen können Sie bei Bedarf mit einem Staubsauger

vorsichtig absaugen.

Zu Ihrer Sicherheit

Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit und um unnötigen Schaden von Ihrem Gerät abzu-

wenden, lesen und beachten Sie die nachfolgenden Sicherheitshinweise:

• Ihr Reference Sound Lautsprecher-System ist ausschließlich für die Wiederga-

be von Tonsignalen bestimmt.

• Schalten Sie Ihre Anlage (Reference Sound Lautsprecher-System, TV-Gerät und

eventuell weitere, angeschlossene Komponenten) unbedingt aus, bevor Sie

elektrische Verbindungen herstellen oder trennen.

• Betreiben Sie das Reference Sound Lautsprecher-System nicht unbeauf-

sichtigt. Ziehen Sie das Steckernetzteil bei längerer Abwesenheit aus der

Steckdose.

• Nässe, Feuchtigkeit, Tropf- und Spritzwasser

• Stößen und mechanischen Belastungen

• Staub

• lüftungshemmender Abdeckung - insbesondere der Rückseite

• Eingriffen ins Innere des Gerätes

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände auf das

Gerät.

Kerzen und andere offene Flammen müssen zu jeder Zeit vom

Gerät ferngehalten werden um das Ausbreiten von Feuer zu

verhindern.

Stechen Sie nicht mit spitzen Gegenständen durch die Stoffabdeckung der

elektrostatischen Membran.

Ihr Reference Sound Lautsprecher-System wurde ausschließlich für die private

Nutzung in häuslicher Umgebung gebaut. Garantieleistungen umfassen diese

bestimmungsgemäße Nutzung.

peratur erreicht hat. So vermeiden Sie ernsthafte Schäden an den Komponenten.

Grundsätzliches

Achtung: DIE ALUMINIUM-OBERFLÄCHE DES REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEA-

KER SLIM IST SEHR KRATZ- UND STOSSEMPFINDLICH. VERMEIDEN SIE JEGLI-

CHEN KONTAKT MIT SCHARFKANTIGEN GEGENSTÄNDEN. STELLEN SIE KEINE

VASEN, KERZEN ODER ANDERE GEGENSTÄNDE AUF DAS GERÄT.

Achtung: SCHLIESSEN SIE DEN REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEAKER SLIM

NICHT AN EINEN VERSTÄRKER AUSGANG AN, DER FREQUENZEN ≤ 150 HZ

AUSGIBT, UM BESCHÄDIGUNGEN AM LAUTSPRECHER ZU VERMEIDEN.

• Lautsprecher auf stabile, ebene Unterlage stellen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lautsprecher aus einer linken und einer rechten

Komponente bestehen. Eine entsprechende Kennzeichnung beﬁ ndet sich auf

dem Typenschild auf der Unterseite des Lautsprechers.

• Lautsprecher nicht in der Nähe von starken Wärmequellen oder in direktem

Sonneneinfall aufstellen.

• Bei Gewitter ziehen Sie das Steckernetzteil ab. Überspannung durch Blitzein-

schlag kann das Gerät über das Stromnetz beschädigen.

• Auch bei längerer Abwesenheit sollte das Steckernetzteil abgezogen sein.

• Das Steckernetzteil muss leicht erreichbar sein, damit das Gerät jederzeit vom

Netz getrennt werden kann.

• Verlegen Sie die Lautsprecher- und das Stromversorgungskabel so, dass sie

nicht beschädigt werden können. Das Stromversorgungskabel darf nicht

geknickt oder über scharfe Kanten verlegt, nicht begangen und keinen

Chemikalien ausgesetzt werden; letzteres gilt für die gesamte Anlage. Ein

Stromversorgungskabel mit beschädigter Isolation kann zu Stromschlägen

führen und stellt eine Brandgefahr dar. Tauschen Sie das Netzteil gegen ein

neues Originalersatzteil aus.

Optimale Anordnung

Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim prinzipbedingt

den Schall auf der Vorder- und Rückseite abstrahlen.

Dabei ist es hilfreich, wenn der Abstand zu den Wänden (hinten sowie links und

rechts) etwa gleich ist, damit sich der Schall im Raum optimal ausbreiten kann.

Außerdem weist die Schallabstrahlung eine Richtcharkeristik auf.

Daher ist es empfehlenswert die Lautsprecher so anzuordnen, dass Sie in

Richtung Ihrer bevorzugten Hörposition ausgerichtet sind (siehe Abbildung auf

Seite 6).

Anschließen

Lautsprecher an die Audio Quelle anschließen

Schließen Sie das Lautsprecherkabel an der Unterseite der Lautsprecher an. Eine

der beiden Adern des Lautsprecherkabels ist schwarz markiert. Verbinden Sie di-

ese schwarz markierte Ader jeweils mit der schwarzen Schraubklemme an Ihrem

Verstärker bzw. Audio Ausgang und der schwarzen Klemme am Lautsprecher.

Drehen Sie dazu den Schraubverschluss der Klemme entgegen dem Uhrzeiger-

sinn einige Umdrehungen auf. Führen Sie das Drahtende in die Schraubklemme

ein und drehen Sie die Schraubklemme im Uhrzeigersinn zu.

Die nicht markierten Adern verbinden Sie mit den roten Klemmen.

Lautsprecher an das Stromnetz anschließen

Stecken Sie den Stecker am Ende des Kabels des Steckernetzteils in die entspre-

chende Buchse an der Unterseite des Lautsprechers.

Stecken Sie die Steckernetzteile der beiden Lautsprecher in je eine Steckdose mit

220 - 240 V 50/60 Hz Wechselspannung.

Your Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim offers a high sound quality and purity

Disposal

Cardboard box and packaging

You have opted for a durable and technically sophisticated product. In line with

national regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials, we pay a

fee to authorised recyclers who collect packaging from dealers. However, we

recommend that you keep the original cardboard box and the rest of the pa-

ckaging materials so that the unit can, if necessary, be transported in the safest

possible conditions.

The unit

Important: The EU Directive 2002/96/EG governs the proper

re-acceptance, handling and recycling of used electronic

appliances.

Old electronic appliances must therefore be disposed of sepa-

rately. Never throw this set in the normal domestic waste. You

can hand in your old set free of charge at identiﬁ ed collection

points or at your dealer if you buy a similar new set. Other

details about re-acceptance (also for non-EU countries) are

available from your local administration.

Cleaning

It is possible that the packaging material may leave marks on the surface of the

ﬂ oor-standing speaker. This does not mean that the surface has been damaged.

These marks can be easily removed using water mixed with a little washing-up

liquid and applied using a soft cloth (e.g. microﬁ bre).

Clean the surface of the aluminum Reference Sound loudspeaker system with a

damp, soft, clean cloth (without aggressive cleaning agents).

Because of electrostatic charge dust may sellte on the speaker grille.

You can gently suck it with a vacuum cleaner, if necessary.

For your safety

For your safety and to avoid unnecessary damage to your TV set, please read

and observe the following safety instructions:

• Your Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system is designed exclusively for

playing audio signals.

• Always switch off your system (Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system,

TV set and any other connected components) before connecting or disconnec-

ting other equipment or speakers.

• Never operate the Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system unsupervi-

sed. Pull the power adapter out the mains socket during longer periods of

absence.

Protect your Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system against ...

• Damp, moisture, rain, splashing water or dew

• Knocks and mechanical stresses

• Magnetic and electrical ﬁ elds

• Higher electrical powers than speciﬁ ed

• Cold, heat, direct sunlight and extreme temperature variations

• Dust

• Covering which obstructs air circulation – especially the rear

• Manipulations inside the set

Do not place objects containing liquids on top of the unit.

Candles and other open ﬂ ames must be kept away from the

unit at all times to prevent the spread of ﬁ re.

Do not pierce the fabric cover of the electrostatic membrane with sharp objects.

Your Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system was designed exclusively for

private use in a domestic environment. The warranty conditions only cover this

intended use.

WARNING: TO RULE OUT DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, NEVER REMOVE THE

COVERS. THERE ARE NO PARTS INSIDE THE HOUSING WHICH CAN BE REPAIRED

BY THE USER. HAVE REPAIRS DONE ONLY BY YOUR LOEWE DEALER.

WARNING: USE THE ORIGINAL POWER ADAPTER EXCLUSIVELY.

WARNING: INSIDE THE SPEAKER HIGH VOLTAGE IS PRESNT. TO AVOID ELEC-

TRICAL SHOCK PROTECT THE SPEAKERS FROM MOISTURE AND DAMAGE.

If your have moved your Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim system from a cold

to a warm environment, leave it standing for about one hour before switching

on because of the possible formation of condensation. Do not switch on until it

has reached room temperature. This avoids seriously damaging the components.

Installing the Reference Sound

Standspeaker Slim system

Basic information

CAUTION: THE ALUMINIUM SURFACE OF THE REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEA-

KER SLIM IS VERY SENSITIVE TO SCRATCHING AND IMPACT. AVOID ALL

CONTACT WITH SHARP OBJECTS. DO NOT PLACE VASES, CANDLES OR OTHER

OBJECTS ON TOP OF THE UNIT.

CAUTION: DO NOT CONNECT THE REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEAKER SLIM TO

AN AMPLIFIER OUTPUT, WHICH EMITS FREQUENCIES ≤ 150 HZ, IN ORDER TO

AVOID DAMAGING THE LOUDSPEAKER.

• Place the speaker on a ﬁ rm, level base.

• Please note, that the speakers consist of a right and left unit. A mark is on

the product label at the base of each unit.

• Do not place the speakers near to strong sources of heat or in direct sunlight.

• Pull out the power adapter during thunderstorms. Surge voltages caused by

lightning strikes can damage the unit.

• Also remove the power adapter in long periods of absence.

• The power adapter set must be easily accessible so that the unit can be

disconnected from the power supply at all times.

• Lay the speaker and power cables in such a way that they cannot be dama-

ged. The power cable may not be kinked or laid over sharp edges, not stood

on and not exposed to chemicals; the latter also applies to the system as a

whole. A power cable with damaged insulation can lead to electric shocks

and is a ﬁ re risk and must therefore be changed by qualiﬁ ed service personnel

before operation of the set continues.

Optimum arrangement

Please note, that due to the the operating principle of the Reference Sound

Standspeaker Slim, the sound is emitted on the front and rear side.

It is useful if the distance from the walls (to the rear as well as left and right) is

about equal, so that the sound distribution into the room may be optimal.

In addition, the sound emission is directional.

It is therefore recommended to arrange the speaker in a way, that they face into

your preferred listening position (page 12).

Connecting the speakers to the audio source

Connect the speaker wires on the bottom of the speaker. One of the two

wires of the speaker cable is marked black. Connect this black wire with the

black screw on your ampliﬁ er or audio output, and the black terminal on the

loudspeaker.

Therefore turn the screw counterclockwise a few turns on. Run the wire end into

the screw and tighten the screw clockwise.

Connect the unmarked wires with the red terminals.

Connecting the subwoofer to the mains

Insert the plug at the end of the cable into the power jack at the bottom of the

speaker.

Plug the power adapter of the two speakers in one outlet with 220 - 240 V

50/60 Hz AC.

Nettoyage

Il peut arriver que l’empreinte des matériaux d’emballage apparaisse sur la

surface du haut-parleur. Il ne s’agit pas là d’un endommagement de la surface.

Ces empreintes peuvent être effacées très facilement à l’aide d’un chiffon doux

(par ex. en microﬁ bres) imprégné d’eau additionnée de produit vaiselle.

Nettoyez la surface en aluminium du système de haut-parleurs Reference Sound

uniquement avec un chiffon doux, propre et légèrement humide (sans produit

abrasif).

En raison de la charge électrostatique, de la poussière peut se déposer sur le

dessus des haut-parleurs. Vous pouvez éventuellement l’aspirer avec précaution

au moyen d‘un aspirateur.

Pour votre sécurité et aﬁ n de prévenir tout endommagement inutile de

l‘appareil, veuillez lire et respecter les instructions de sécurité suivantes :

• Votre système de haut-parleurs Reference Sound est conçu uniquement pour

la lecture de signaux sonores.

• Eteignez impérativement votre installation (haut-parleurs Reference sound,

téléviseur et autres composants éventuellement raccordés) avant de brancher

ou débrancher d‘autres appareils.

• Ne laissez pas le système de haut-parleurs Reference Sound fonctionner sans

surveillance. Débranchez la ﬁ che secteur en cas d‘absence prolongée.

Protégez votre système de haut-parleurs Reference Sound de …

• de l’humidité, pluie, projections d‘eau ou rosée

• des coups et des contraintes mécaniques

• des champs magnétiques et électriques

Ne placez pas d‘objets remplis de liquide sur l‘appareil.

Les bougies et autres ﬂ ammes ouvertes doivent toujours être

tenues éloignées de l‘appareil, aﬁ n d‘empêcher la propagation

du feu.

Ne piquez pas la protection en tissu de la membrane électrostatique avec des

objets coupants.

Votre système de haut-parleurs Reference Sound a été conçu exclusivement

pour une utilisation dans le cadre domestique. La garantie ne sera accordée que

Attention : NE BRANCHER PAS LE REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEAKER SLIM

SUR UNE SORTIE AMPLIFICATEUR QUI EMET DES FREQUENCES ≤ 150 HZ AFIN

D‘EVITER TOUS DOMMAGES SUR LES HAUT-PARLEURS.

• Placez le haut-parleur sur un support stable et horizontal.

• Assurez-vous que les haut-parleurs soient constitués d‘un composant gauche

et d‘un composant droit. Le marquage correspondant se trouve sur la plaque

signalétique située au bas du haut-parleur.

• N‘installez pas le haut-parleur à proximité d‘une puissante source de chaleur

et ne l‘exposez pas au rayonnement direct du soleil.

• En cas d‘orage, débranchez la ﬁ che secteur. Les surtensions causées par les

coups de foudre peuvent endommager l‘appareil.

• En cas d‘absence prolongée, débranchez la ﬁ che secteur.

• La ﬁ che secteur doit être facilement accessible pour que l‘appareil puisse être

débranché du secteur à tout moment.

• Installez les câbles des haut-parleurs et de l’alimentation de façon à ne

pas les endommager. Le câble d‘alimentation ne doit pas être plié ou posé

sur un rebord coupant ni se trouver dans un passage ou être exposé à des

substances chimiques ; ceci est valable pour l’ensemble de l‘installation. Un

câble d‘alimentation dont l‘isolation est endommagée peut entraîner des

chocs électriques et représente un danger d‘incendie. Remplacez alors le bloc

d‘alimentation par une nouvelle pièce d’origine.

Agencement optimal

Notez que, de par son principe de construction, le haut-parleur Reference Sound

Standspeaker Slim envoie le son par l’avant et l’arrière.

La distance par rapport aux murs (derrière et à droite/gauche) doit donc être

similaire pour que le son se propage de façon optimale dans la pièce.

En outre, la propagation sonore répond à une caractéristique directive.

C‘est pourquoi il est recommandé d‘agencer les haut-parleurs de façon à ce

qu‘ils correspondent à votre position d’écoute préférée (page 18).

Connexion du haut-parleur à la source audio

Branchez le câble du haut-parleur au bas de ce dernier. L‘un des deux brins du

câble est noir. Connectez ce brin à la borne à vis noire de votre ampliﬁ cateur,

resp. de votre sortie source, ainsi qu‘à la borne à vis noire du haut-parleur.

Dévissez la fermeture à vis de la borne de quelques tours, dans le sens inverse

des aiguilles d’une montre. Faites passer l‘extrémité du brin dans la borne à vis

et vissez-la dans le sens des aiguilles d‘une montre.

Reliez les conducteurs ne portant aucun marquage aux bornes rouges.

Raccordement du haut-parleur au secteur

Insérez la ﬁ che située à l‘extrémité du câble d’alimentation dans la prise corre-

spondante au bas du haut-parleur.

Insérez les ﬁ ches secteur des deux haut-parleurs dans une prise secteur 220-240

V 50/60 Hz CA.

Smaltimento

Imballo e scatola

Avete scelto un prodotto tecnicamente superiore e duraturo. Per lo smaltimento

dell‘imballaggio abbiamo devoluto un sussidio all‘azienda che ritira l‘imballaggio

dal rivenditore, in conformità alle disposizioni nazionali. Tuttavia, consigliamo di

conservare bene il cartone originale e il materiale d‘imballaggio, di modo che

l‘apparecchio possa essere trasportato con una protezione ottimale in caso di

necessità.

L‘apparecchio

INFORMAZIONE AGLI UTENTI: ai sensi dell’art. 13 del Decreto

Pulizia

È possibile che sulla superﬁ cie dell’altoparlante restino impronte del materiale

di imballaggio. Non si tratta però di un danneggiamento della superﬁ cie.

È possibile eliminare senza alcun problema queste impronte con un panno

morbido (ad esempio in microﬁ bra), leggermente inumidito con una soluzione di

detergente e acqua.

Pulire la superﬁ cie in alluminio del sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound

utilizzando unicamente un panno leggermente umido, morbido e pulito (senza

detergenti aggressivi o abrasivi).

A causa delle cariche elettrostatiche, sul rivestimento degli altoparlanti può

depositarsi della polvere, che in caso di necessità può essere rimossa utilizzando

con delicatezza un aspirapolvere.

Per la vostra sicurezza e per evitare inutili danni all‘apparecchio, leggere e

rispettare le seguenti norme di sicurezza.

• Il sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound è destinato esclusivamente alla

riproduzione di segnali audio.

• Prima di collegare o scollegare altri apparecchi o altoparlanti, spegnere

sempre l‘impianto (sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound, apparecchio TV

ed eventualmente altri componenti collegati).

• Non utilizzare il sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound senza supervisione.

In caso di assenze prolungate è consigliabile estrarre l‘alimentatore a spina

dalla presa.

Proteggere il proprio sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound da…

• acqua, umidità, pioggia, schizzi d‘acqua o rugiada

• colpi e sollecitazioni meccaniche

• campi magnetici ed elettrici

• valori di potenza elettrica più elevati di quanto indicato

• freddo, calore, radiazione solare diretta e forti oscillazioni termiche

• polvere

• ostruzioni delle aperture di ventilazione – in particolare sul retro

• manomissioni all’interno dell’apparecchio

Non collocare contenitori con liquidi sull‘apparecchio.

Candele e altre ﬁ amme libere vanno sempre tenute lontane

dall‘apparecchio per evitare la propagazione della ﬁ amma.

Non perforare con oggetti appuntiti il rivestimento in stoffa della membrana

elettrostatica.

Il sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound è stato costruito esclusivamente per

l’uso personale nell’ambito domestico. Le condizioni di garanzia presuppongono

un uso conforme alle disposizioni.

In caso di spostamento del sistema di altoparlanti Reference Sound da un am-

soltanto quando l‘apparecchio ha raggiunto la temperatura ambiente. In questo

modo si prevengono seri danni ai componenti.

Installazione del sistema di altoparlanti

Reference Sound

Principi di base

Attenzione: LA SUPERFICIE IN ALLUMINIO DEL REFERENCE SOUND È MOLTO

SENSIBILE AI GRAFFI E AGLI URTI. EVITARE QUALSIASI CONTATTO CON

EVENTUALI OGGETTI APPUNTITI. NON APPOGGIARE VASI, CANDELE O ALTRI

OGGETTI SUL SUBWOOFER.

Attenzione: PER EVITARE DI DANNEGGIARE L’ALTOPARLANTE, NON COLLEGA-

RE IL Reference Sound Standspeaker SLIM AD UN’USCITA DELL’AMPLIFICATORE

CON UNA FREQUENZA ≤ 150 HZ.

• Collocare l‘altoparlante su una superﬁ cie stabile e piana.

• Ricordarsi che gli altoparlanti sono costituiti da un elemento destro e uno si-

nistro. Il relativo contrassegno si trova sulla targhetta di fabbricazione, posta

sul lato inferiore dell‘altoparlante.

• Non installare l‘altoparlante nelle vicinanze di fonti di calore intense o con

esposizione diretta al sole.

• In caso di maltempo, staccare l‘alimentatore a spina. La sovratensione causa-

ta dai fulmini può danneggiare l‘apparecchio attraverso la rete elettrica.

• È consigliabile staccare l‘alimentatore dalla presa anche in caso di assenze

prolungate.

• L‘alimentatore deve essere facilmente accessibile, per poter scollegare

l’apparecchio dalla rete in qualsiasi momento.

• Posare il cavo dell‘altoparlante e il cavo di alimentazione in modo che non

possano essere danneggiati. Il cavo di alimentazione non deve essere piegato

né posato su spigoli acuti, non deve essere calpestato o esposto a sostanze

chimiche; questo vale, del resto, anche per l‘intero impianto. Un cavo di

alimentazione il cui isolamento è danneggiato potrebbe causare scosse

elettriche e costituisce un pericolo di incendio. Sostituire l‘alimentatore con

un ricambio originale.

Disposizione ottimale

Si prega di considerare che, in base al principio costruttivo, i Reference Sound

Standspeaker Slim emettono il suono sia dal lato anteriore che da quello

posteriore.

Per questo motivo è utile che la distanza dalle pareti (sia dietro, sia a destra

e a sinistra) sia all‘incirca uguale, afﬁ nché il suono possa diffondersi in modo

ottimale nel locale.

Inoltre la diffusione sonora è caratterizzata da direttività.

Per questo motivo si raccomanda di disporre gli altoparlanti in modo che siano

allineati secondo la direzione di ascolto preferita (pagina 24).

Collegamento degli altoparlanti alla sorgente audio

Collegare il cavo dell‘altoparlante al lato inferiore dell‘altoparlante stesso. Uno

dei due ﬁ li del cavo dell‘altoparlante è contrassegnato in nero. Collegare sempre

questo ﬁ lo nero al morsetto a vite nero dell‘ampliﬁ catore o dell‘uscita audio e al

morsetto nero dell‘altoparlante.

A tale scopo, ruotare alcune volte in senso antiorario la chiusura a vite del

morsetto. Inﬁ lare l‘estremità del ﬁ lo nel morsetto a vite e ruotare quest‘ultimo in

senso orario.

Le anime non segnate vanno collegate con i morsetti rossi.

Collegamento dell‘altoparlante alla rete di alimentazione

Inserire la spina che si trova all‘estremità del cavo dell‘alimentatore nella corris-

pondente presa sul lato inferiore dell‘altoparlante.

Inserire gli alimentatori a spina di ciascun altoparlante in una presa a 220 - 240

V 50/60 Hz tensione alternata.

El dispositivo

Limpieza

Es posible que en la superﬁ cie del altavoz de pie se aprecien marcas del mate-

rial de embalaje.

Esto no signiﬁ ca que el altavoz esté estropeado.

Para eliminar esas marcas, utilice un trapo suave, por ejemplo, una balleta,

humedecido ligeramente con agua y un poco de detergente.

Utilice siempre un trapo limpio y suave, ligeramente humedecido, para limpiar

las superﬁ cies de aluminio del sistema de altavoces Reference Sound. No utilice

productos de limpieza abrasivos.

Debido a la carga electrostática, es posible que se acumule polvo en la cubierta

de los altavoces, que puede limpiar con un aspirador teniendo mucho cuidado.

Por su propia seguridad y para evitar daños innecesarios en su aparato, deberá

Puntos básicos

ATENCIÓN: LA SUPERFICIE DE ALUMINIO DEL REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEA-

KER SLIM ES MUY SENSIBLE A ARAÑAZOS Y GOLPES. EVITE EL CONTACTO CON

OBJETOS ANGULOSOS. NO COLOQUE JARRONES, VELAS NI NINGÚN OTRO TIPO

DE OBJETOS ENCIMA DEL SUBWOOFER.

ATENCIÓN: NO CONECTE EL REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEAKER SLIM A UNA

SALIDA DEL AMPLIFICADOR QUE EMITA FRECUENCIAS ≤ 150 HZ, CON EL FIN

DE EVITAR QUE SE PRODUZCAN DAÑOS EN EL ALTAVOZ.

• Coloque el altavoz sobre una superﬁ cie lisa y estable.

• Tenga en cuenta que el altavoz se compone de una parte derecha y otra iz-

quierda. En la placa de características, situada en la parte inferior del altavoz,

aparece indicado el lugar que corresponde a cada componente.

• Los altavoces no deben colocarse cerca de fuentes de calor intensas ni ser

expuestos a la radiación solar directa.

• En caso de tormenta, desconecte la fuente de alimentación de la red eléctri-

ca, ya que la sobretensión provocada por un rayo podría dañar el aparato.

• Si va a ausentarse una larga temporada, es aconsejable desenchufar el

aparato de la red eléctrica.

• La fuente de alimentación debe ser fácilmente accesible para poder desco-

nectar el aparato de la red siempre que sea necesario.

• Coloque los cables de los altavoces y de la alimentación eléctrica de forma

que no puedan resultar dañados. El cable de red no se debe doblar ni colocar

sobre bordes aﬁ lados, pisar ni exponer a productos químicos; al igual que

el resto del equipo. Un cable de red con el aislante dañado puede causar

descargas eléctricas y supone peligro de incendio. Sustituya la fuente de

alimentación por una pieza original nueva.

Colocación idónea

Tenga en cuenta que el Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim reproduce el sonido

tanto por la parte frontal como posterior.

Por lo tanto, es aconsejable que la distancia a las paredes, tanto posterior como

izquierda y derecha, sea homogénea para que el sonido se distribuya por la

habitación de forma óptima.

Asimismo, la emisión acústica posee una característica direccional.

Por ese motivo, es recomendable colocar los altavoces de forma que estén

orientados hacia la posición desde donde se van a escuchar habitualmente

(página 30).

Conexión de los altavoces a la fuente de audio

Conecte el cable de los altavoces a la base de cada altavoz. Uno de los dos con-

ductores del cable es de color negro. Conecte ese conductor al terminal roscado

negro del ampliﬁ cador o a la salida de audio y el terminal negro al altavoz.

Para ello, gire el cierre roscado del borne en sentido contrario a las agujas del

reloj unas cuantas vueltas. Introduzca el extremo del cable en el terminal rosca-

do y gírelo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj.

Conecte los conductores que no están marcados con los bornes rojos.

Conexión de los altavoces a la red eléctrica

Conecte el cable de la fuente de alimentación a la clavija situada en la base del

altavoz.

Conecte la fuente de alimentación de ambos altavoces a un enchufe de 220 -

240 V 50/60 Hz de tensión alterna.

Afvalverwijdering

Doos en ander verpakkingsmateriaal

U hebt gekozen voor een technisch hoogwaardig en duurzaam product. Voor

het als afval verwerken van de verpakking betaalden wij een afvalverwerkings-

bijdrage, zoals voorgeschreven door de nationale wetgeving. Desondanks

adviseren wij u de originele doos en het overige verpakkingsmateriaal goed

te bewaren, zodat u de apparatuur indien nodig optimaal beschermd kunt

transporteren.

Het toestel

Let op: De EU-richtlijn 2002/96/EG regelt de correcte terug-

name, behandeling en verwerking van gebruikte elektronische

toestellen.

Oude elektronische toestellen moeten dan ook afzonderlijk

als afval worden verwerkt. Gelieve dit toestel bij het gewone

huisvuil te zetten! U kunt afgedankte toestellen gratis afgeven

op speciaal daarvoor ingerichte terugnameplaatsen, of in een

speciaalzaak, wanneer u een gelijkaardig nieuw toestel koopt.

Verdere bijzonderheden over de terugname (ook voor niet-

EUlanden) vindt u bij uw plaatselijke overheid.

Reinigen

Soms komt het voor, dat er nog resten verpakkingsmateriaal op het oppervlak

van de staande luidspreker achterblijven. In dat geval gaat het dus niet om een

beschadiging van het oppervlak. Deze resten kunnen met een oplossing van

een beetje afwasmiddel en water en een daarmee bevochtigde doek (bijv. van

microvezels) zonder problemen worden verwijderd.

Reinig het aluminium oppervlak van het Reference Sound luidsprekersysteem

alleen met een iets vochtige, zachte en schone doek (zonder agressieve reini-

gingsmiddelen).

Als gevolg van elektrostatische oplading kan stof aan de luidsprekerafdekking

hechten. Dit kunt u eventueel voorzichtig met een stofzuiger schoonzuigen.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

Met het oog op uw eigen veiligheid en om schade aan uw installatie te voorko-

men, is het van belang dat u de onderstaande veiligheidsinstructies leest en in

acht neemt:

• Uw Reference Sound luidsprekersysteem is uitsluitend bedoeld voor de weer-

gave van geluidssignalen.

• Schakel uw installatie (Reference Sound luidsprekersysteem, televisie en even-

tueel andere, aangesloten componenten) absoluut uit voordat u elektrische

aansluitingen in orde maakt of wilt verbreken.

• Laat het Reference Sound luidsprekersysteem nooit onbeheerd achter.Trek bij

langdurige afwezigheid de stekker uit het stopcontact.

Bescherm uw Reference Sound-luidsprekersysteem tegen ...

• water, vocht, regen, druip- en spatwater of dauw

• schokken en mechanische belasting

• magnetische en elektrische velden

• hogere elektrische vermogens dan aangegeven

• kou, hitte, direct zonlicht en grote temperatuurschommelingen

• stof

• ventilatiebelemmerende afdekkingen – met name aan de achterkant

• ingrepen aan de binnenkant van het apparaat

Zet geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen of brandende

kaarsen op het apparaat.

Kaarsen of ander open vuur moet(en) te allen tijde uit de buurt

van het apparaat gehouden worden om uitbreiding van brand

te voorkomen.

Niet met puntige voorwerpen door de stoffen afdekking van het elektrostatische

membraan steken.

Uw Reference Sound-luidsprekersysteem werd uitsluitend gebouwd voor privé-

gebruik in een huiselijke kring. De garantie is beperkt tot dit reglementaire

gebruik.

Basisinformatie

LET OP: HET ALUMINIUM OPPERVLAK VAN DE REFERENCE SOUND

STANDSPEAKER SLIM IS ZEER GEVOELIG VOOR KRASSEN EN SCHOKKEN.

VERMIJD IEDER CONTACT MET SCHERPKANTIGE VOORWERPEN. PLAATS GEEN

VAZEN, KAARSEN OF ANDERE VOORWERPEN OP DE SUBWOOFER.

LET OP: SLUIT DE REFERENCE SOUND STANDSPEAKER SLIM NIET AAN OP EEN

VERSTEKERUITGANG DIE FREQUENTIES ≤ 150 HZ UITGEEFT, OM SCHADE AAN

DE LUIDSPREKER TE VOORKOMEN.

• Luidsprekers altijd op een stevige, vlakke ondergrond plaatsen.

• Let er daarbij op, dat de luidspreker uit een linker en rechter component

bestaan. De dienovereenkomstige aanduiding bevindt zich op het typeplaatje

aan de onderzijde van de luidspreker.

• Luidsprekers niet in de nabijheid van krachtige warmtebronnen of in direct

zonlicht plaatsen.

• Bij onweer altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken. Overspanning door

blikseminslag kan het apparaat via het stroomnet beschadigen.

• Ook bij langdurige afwezigheid altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.

• De netvoedingsadapter moet gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn, zodat het apparaat

te allen tijde kan worden losgekoppeld van de stroom.

• Leg de luidspreker- en voedingskabels zo aan, dat deze niet beschadigd

kunnen raken. De voedingskabel mag niet geknikt worden of over scherpe

randen lopen, er mag niet overheen worden gelopen en de kabel mag niet

aan chemicaliën worden blootgesteld; dit laatste geldt uiteraard voor de

complete installatie. Een voedingskabel met beschadigde isolatie kan tot

een elektrische schok leiden en vormt een gevaar voor brand. Vervang in dat

geval de netvoeding door een originele vervangende voeding.

Optimale plaatsing

Houd er rekening mee, dat de Reference Sound Standspeaker Slim in principe

het geluid aan de voor- en achterzijde uitstralen.

Daarbij is belangrijk, dat de afstand tot de wanden (achter evenals links en

rechts) ongeveer gelijk is, zodat het geluid zich optimaal uit kan breiden in de

ruimte.

Bovendien is de straling van geluid onderhevig aan een richtkarakteristiek.

Daarom is het raadzaam de luidsprekers zo te plaatsen, dat ze in de richting van

de door u gewenste luisterpositie wijzen (pagina 36).
