Waarschuwing :
• Het elektrolyt bevat zwavelzuur. Bescherm uw ogen, huid en kleding.
Als u toch in contact komt met het zwavelzuur, overvloedig met water
spoelen en onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen, vooral als het uw ogen
betreft.
• De batterij produceert waterstofgas, dat heel explosief is. Rook niet in
de buurt van de batterij en plaats de batterij niet in de buurt van
vlammen of vonken, vooral tijdens het opladen.
8.8 Controleren van de koolborstel en de sleepring
Controleer de koolborstel en de sleepring regelmatig. Aanpassen als er vonken
zijn.
9. OPSLAG VOOR LANGE TIJD
Indien de generator voor lange tijd wordt opgeslagen, de volgende punten in
acht nemen :
1. Laat de motor ongeveer 3 minuten
onbelast draaien en stop hem dan.
2. Tap de motorolie af terwijl de motor nog
warm is en vul bij met nieuwe olie.
3. Verwijder de schroefplug op de cilinderkop,
vul 2cc motorolie bij en plaats de
schroefplug weer terug.
4. Draai de motor 2-3 seconden met de
decompressiehendel in de positie « geen
compressie » en de startknop op de positie « START », maar start de motor
niet.
5. Duw de decompressiehendel omhoog. Trek aan de startkabel totdat u
weerstand voelt (in deze positie zijn zowel de inlaat- als de uitlaatklep
gesloten) en laat de hendel in deze positie. Hierdoor wordt voorkomen dat de
motor gaat roesten.
6. Veeg de olie en het vuil van de motor en sla de generator op in een droge,
goed geventileerde ruimte.
