2.5 Tretkurbel
Der ausreichend feste Sitz der Tretkurbeln (17) sollte von Zeit zu Zeit kontrolliert werden.
Die Tretkurbeln sind mit 13mm-Sechskantschrauben auf der Tretlagerachse montiert. Zie-
hen Sie die Schrauben bei Bedarf entsprechend nach.
2.6 Kette
Die Kette wird über die Tretkurbel angetrieben und unterliegt besonders hoher Beanspru-
chung. Beachten Sie daher einige besondere Hinweise zur Pflege und zur möglichst langen
Lebensdauer:
Schmieren Sie die Kette regelmäßig (und besonders nach Regenfahrten) mit handelsüb-
lichem Kettenschmiermittel leicht ein. Vorsichtshalber sollte die Kettenspannung durch
einen Fachhändler nutzungsabhängig 1bis 2-mal im Jahr kontrolliert werden. Bei Ketten-
schaltungen spannt sich die Kette automatisch durch die Spannfedern im Schaltwerk.
2.7 Reifen
Ihr Fahrrad verfügt über Reifen der Größe 20 x 1,95". Die Reifen verfügen über einen
Reflektionsstreifen.
Zu wenig Reifendruck führt zu veränderter Fahrstabilität, geringerer Reichweite und er-
höhtem Verschleiß. Kontrollieren Sie deshalb regelmäßig den Reifendruck. Dieser sollte ca.
3 bar betragen.
