2.4 Schaltung
Ihr Fahrrad ist mit einer Shimano 7-Gang-Kettenschaltung ausgestattet.
Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Übersetzung je nach Gelände, eigener Leistungsfähigkeit und
Wetterverhältnissen anzupassen.
Schalten
Um einen Gang zu wechseln, halten Sie während der Fahrt kurz mit
der Tretbewegung inne - keinen Druck auf die Pedale ausüben! -
und drehen Sie den Schaltdrehgriff (18) am rechten Lenkergriff in
die gewünschte Richtung (siehe Abb. 17)
Schaltung einstellen
Hinweis
Durch eine gut eingestellte und regelmäßig gewartete Kettenschaltung kann der
Verschleiß der Kette und der Zahnkränze reduziert und die Lebensdauer der ge-
samten Schaltung erhöht werden.
Sollten sich die Gänge nicht richtig schalten lassen oder Geräusche beim Schalten auftreten,
müssen eventuell Einstellungen an der Kettenschaltung vorgenommen werden.
Meist reicht es bereits aus, die Zugspannung leicht
nachzustellen. Hierzu die Stellschraube
C
(Abb. 18)
etwas anziehen. Sollte die Nachjustierung zu stark ge-
wesen sein, die Schraube einfach wieder ein wenig in
die entgegengesetzte Richtung drehen.
Schaltwerk einstellen
1. Am Schaltdrehgriff (18) die Kette auf das kleinste
Ritzel am Schaltwerk (8) schalten.
2. Die Stellschraube
H
(Abb. 18) solange drehen, bis
die Kettenleitrolle exakt unter dem kleinsten Ritzel
steht.
3. Jetzt den Schaltzug straffen und mit der Stell-
schraube
F
fixieren.
4. Die Kette nun auf das größte Ritzel schalten.
5. Die Kette darf auf keinen Fall die Speichen berüh-
ren. Ggf. mit der Stellschraube
L
korrigieren.
6. Sollten beim Schalten Geräusche auftreten, die Stell-
schraube
C
solange herausdrehen, bis das Schalten
geräuschlos abläuft.
