FIRST STEPS (#2-#6)
1. Place the appliance in such a way that the front grille points upwards
during installation of the base (#2).
2. Assemble the two base halves by inserting the tabs into the slots
(#3).
3. Align the base on the appliance. Pull the power cord through the hole
in the centre of the base (#4).
4. Insert the pins on the appliance (C) into the openings on the base
(D), and screw the base clockwise until it clicks into place (#5)
5. Pull the power cable all the way through the opening in the base, and
connect it to a mains supply (#6).
FILLING (#7)
Pull out the drawer located on the rear of the appliance. Fill water up to
the MAX line using a jug. Fill at least up to the MIN line to ensure that
the pump can function. Close the drawer again. Important: If there is no
water in the tank, you will hear a noise (the pump attempting to suck in
water) - pour in water at least up to the MIN line!
Tip: Use ice cold water and/or ice cubes. The colder the water used, the
cooler the effect. After filling the water tank and before use, allow the
filter to absorb water for at least 3 minutes. In this way, you can provide
cool air more quickly.
SWITCHING ON/SPEED (#8)
The appliance has 3 speed levels - high, medium and low. Press the
Tbutton on the control panel to switch on the appliance. It is pre-set to
the highest speed. Press the button again to set the required level. Note:
Even when the tank is empty, the filter remains moist and the appliance
continues to cool.
TIMER (#9)
You can set the timer to shut down after 2, 6, 8 or 12 hours. Press the

process, press the

TURNING (#10)
Press the button once for the appliance to turn back and forth
continuously. Press the button again to stop the appliance at a particular
point.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
IMPORTANT: DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE FROM THE MAINS
BEFORE CLEANING!
FILTER REPLACEMENT (#11): To remove the filter, remove the front
grille by pressing down on the tab at the top of the grille. Put the grille
to one side. Grasp the filter at the top with one finger, and pull it out.
Recommendation: Clean the appliance and filter weekly for optimal
results. Replace the filter every 3-6 months.
CLEANING THE FILTER (#12+13)
DISHWASHER: Place the filter in the top basket of the dishwasher and
begin a normal wash cycle. Take it out and allow to air dry completely!
HAND WASH: Wash gently by hand with warm water and a mild
detergent. Shake off any excess water and allow to air dry
completely!
IMPORTANT: If you notice mould or a musty smell, stop using
immediately, and clean the filter thoroughly or replace it. Submerge
the filter completely in a saucepan or bowl filled with equal amounts
of clean water and white vinegar, and leave to soak for 45-60 minutes.
Rinse with warm water, shake off the excess water, and allow to air dry.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Preparation: Allow the appliance to run until the water tank is
empty or hold the device over a sink and slowly empty it.
Clean the appliance/water tank once a week with a non-abrasive
cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent. Clean the dirty water tank
with a small flexible brush (e.g. toothbrush, bottle brush, or similar).
Rinse with warm water.
