Preparation

Tools and materials required

The speciﬁed tools and materials are not included.

The information and values speciﬁed are non-bind-

ing and are only provided as a reference. The na-

ture of the material is determined by the speciﬁc

local conditions.

– Pencil / marking tool

– 2-pole voltage tester

– Screwdriver

– Electric drill

– Drill bit (approx. ø 6 mm)

– Hammer

– Side cutter

– Ladder

For your safety!

Install the light so it is protected from moisture,

dirt and extreme heating.

Always be alert! Always pay attention to what

you are doing and use common sense. Never

install the light if you are having diﬃculty con-

centrating or do not feel well.

Before drilling, ensure that there are no gas or

water pipes or power cables where you intend

to drill. Installation may only be carried out by

experts. It is essential that you take note of how

the wall is constructed, as the included ﬁttings

are not suitable for all types of wall. Ask the re-

tailer about screws and wall plugs suitable for

the respective wall structure.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for

an inappropriate wall to wall plug connection

and any resulting damage.

Verify the installation site is suitable to bear the

weight of the light before installation.

Familiarise yourself with all instructions and di-

agrams in this manual as well as with the light

itself before use.

Mounting the LED light panel

DANGER OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK!

Important: The electrical connection must be

established by a qualiﬁed electrician or a per-

son trained to perform electrical installations.

This person must be familiar with the properties

of the light and the connection requirements.

For this purpose, remove the fuse or switch oﬀ

the circuit breaker (0 setting) in the fuse box.

Remove all packaging materials from the light.

Remove the visible screws

for the LED light

panel

and remove the mounting bracket

at the back.

Use the holes in the mounting bracket

in-

tended for the screws

to mark the drill holes.

Now drill the mounting holes. Be sure not to

damage the power cable.

Insert the wall plugs

into the drilled holes.

Secure the mounting bracket

using the

screws

provided (see Fig. A).

Pull the protective tubes

over cables L and

N of the mains connection cable (external)

Connect the connection cable of the light to

the mains connection cable (external)

using

the screwless terminal

(see Fig. A).

Be sure to correctly connect each of the individ-

ual conductors of the mains connection cable

(external)

: live conductor, black or brown =

symbol L, neutral conductor, blue = symbol N,

protective conductor, green-yellow = symbol

Now attach the LED light panel

to the mount-

ing bracket

using the screws

(see Fig. B).

Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit

breaker (I setting) in the fuse box.

Your LED light panel

is now ready to use.

This LED light panel

is also suitable for

installation as a recessed light in suspended

ceilings.

Installation for this purpose must be carried out

by a professional, as the exact dimensions of

the light must be taken into account in the ceil-

ing construction.
