Setting the timer
1.Press [ POWER] to turn the unit on.
2.Press [ OPEN/CLOSE] to open the tray and
place a recordable DVD disc or recordable CD
disc (LVW-5005 model only) on the tray.
If you use an new recordable DVD disc, disc preparation process
will take place in the background automatically.
3.Press [TIMER] to display the “Timer-Record”
menu.
4.Press [p][q] to select one of the timer setting
list and press [u].
5.Press [t] [u] to select “Mode” and then press
[ENTER] .
Each time you press [p] [q] , the item changes as follows.
Mode: Once <-> Weekly <-> Daily
6.Press [t] [u] to select “Date” and then press
[ENTER] .
Each time you press [p] [q] , the item changes as follows.
For Once: DATE: 1 2 : 2 5 (MM/DD)
For Weekly: DATE: SAT
(SUN/MON/TUE/WED/THU/FRI/SAT)
For Daily: DATE: X X : X X (not work)
7.Press [t] [u] to select “Start Time” and then
press [ENTER] to set the “Recording start time”.
TIME:0 1 : 2 8 A (HH/MM/AM or PM)
8.Press [t] [u] to set “End Time” and then
press [ENTER] to set the “Recording end time.”
9.Press [t] [u] to select “Source” and then
press [ENTER] to set the “Recording source.”
TV <-->AV1-Front<-->AV2-Rear<-->S-Video<-->DV
10.Press [t] [u] to select “Quality” and then
press [ENTER] to set the “Recording quality.”
LVW-5001 model only:
Mode: HQ <-> SP <-> EP <-> SLP
LVW-5005 model only:
Mode:HQ <-> SP <-> EP <-> SLP <-> SVCD<->VCD<-> Audio
CD
If you enter a wrong selection
Press [t] [u] to re-select the item you want to change.
11.Press [p][q] to select the “Exit” icon and
then press [ENTER] to exit the “Timer-Record”
menu.
12.Press [POWER] to turn off the unit and acti-
vate the timer record function.
Notes:
1.When the timer record function is active, the “Timer” LED on front
panel will light up.
2.Timer Record continues until you stop the recording or the disc is
full.
To stop recording during timer record
When you press [ STOP ] , it may take a few seconds for
recording to stop.
To check the disc status while timer recording
Press [DISPLAY] and the timer recordi information appears.
Prior to timer record
Please check that the recordable DVD disc or recordable CD disc
(LVW-5005 model only) has enough available space for the timer
recording function. Before you start to record, follow the steps to
set the date, time, picture quality and channel of the program
manually.
