2. Setting the correct radio
channel
A special digital transmission pro-
cess ensures that the radio signals
are picked up without errors. This
process also makes it possible to set
10 different radio channels.
When supplied from the factory, all
Portable Radio Receivers are set to
channel 0. It is only necessary to set
units to other channels if you have
several different users operating
units in the same building.
Set the required channel by using a
small screwdriver to turn the chan-
nel selector switch, which is located
on the right of the receiver, to the
required channel number. Use a
small screwdriver to adjust this
switch.
All transmitters and receivers must
be set to the same channel.

Operation –
1. Switching on the unit
Set the on/off switch to on. The Por-
table Radio Receiver is now ready to
operate. After the unit has been
switched on, each of the indicator
lamps lights up briefly in succession
and the receiver vibrates three
times. This forms part of a self-test
of the unit and lets you know that it
is functioning correctly.
2. Transmission signal detection
The Portable Radio Receiver con-
verts the various transmission sig-
nals into different sequences of
vibration and lamp signals.
