TESTEN MET CONTROLEVLOEISTOF
Breng de controlevloeistof aan
Houd de meter zodanig dat de zijrand van de teststrip een
kleine hoek vormt met de druppel controlevloeistof.
Houd het kanaaltje op de zijde van de teststrip tegen de
controlevloeistof. Wacht tot het kanaaltje volledig is gevuld.

Lees uw resultaat af
De meter begint af te tellen van 5 tot 1. Het resultaat wordt op het scherm weergegeven, samen
met de datum, de tijd, de maateenheid en het woord CONTROLEVLOEISTOF.
De meter markeert het resultaat automatisch als een test met controlevloeistof.
Controleer of het resultaat binnen het juiste bereik valt
Vergelijk het op de meter weergegeven resultaat met het bereik dat op het OneTouch®
Verio™ esje met controlevloeistof staat gedrukt. Als het resultaat van een test met
controlevloeistof buiten het verwachte bereik ligt, dient de test met controlevloeistof eerst met
een nieuwe teststrip te worden herhaald.
Reiniging
Reinig de bovenzijde van de dop van de controlevloeistof met een schone, vochtige tissue of doek.
Resultaten die buiten het bereik vallen, kunnen de volgende oorzaken hebben:
• De instructies in stappen 1-5 zijn niet gevolgd.
• De controlevloeistof is vervuild of de vervaldatum of uiterste gebruiksdatum is verlopen.
• De teststrip of het buisje met teststrips is beschadigd of de vervaldatum of uiterste gebruiksdatum is verlopen.
• Meter, teststrips en/of controlevloeistof waren niet op dezelfde temperatuur toen de test met de controlevloeistof werd uitgevoerd.
• Er is een probleem met de meter.
• Vuil in of besmetting van de kleine opening bovenop de dop van de controlevloeistof (zie stap 2).
LET OP: Als het woord CONTROLEVLOEISTOF niet op het scherm verschijnt, dient u
de test opnieuw uit te voeren met een nieuwe teststrip. Neem, als het probleem blijft
aanhouden, contact op met de OneTouch®-lijn op 0800-022 24 45.
OPMERKING: Het resultaat wordt in uw gemiddelden opgenomen waardoor uw
gemiddelden eveneens wijzigen.
LET OP: •
• Als de resultaten van testen met controlevloeistof telkens opnieuw buiten het op het esje controlevloeistof afgedrukte bereik
vallen, mag u de meter, de teststrips of de controlevloeistof niet meer gebruiken. Neem contact op met de OneTouch®-lijn
op 0800-022 24 45.
• Het bereik voor de controlevloeistof dat op het esje met controlevloeistof staat gedrukt, geldt alleen voor testen met
controlevloeistof en is geen aanbevolen bereik voor uw bloedglucosewaarden.
