TESTEN MET CONTROLEVLOEISTOF
Testen met controlevloeistof
Wanneer u moet testen met controlevloeistof
OneTouch® Ultra® controlevloeistof bevat een bekende hoeveelheid glucose en wordt gebruikt om te controleren of de meter
en teststrips goed werken.
Begin met uitgeschakelde meter. Als u de meter hebt ingeschakeld om instellingen te wijzigen of eerdere resultaten te
bekijken, schakelt u deze uit.
Controleer de code op het buisje met teststrips voordat u de teststrip in de meter plaatst
Plaats een teststrip in de meter om deze in te schakelen
Zorg ervoor dat de drie contactstaaes naar u toe gericht zijn. Druk de teststrip in de meter tot
deze niet verder kan. Buig de teststrip niet.
Vergelijk de code op de meter met de code op het buisje teststrips
Als de code op de meter niet overeenkomt met de code op het buisje met teststrips, drukt u op
of
tot het codenummer overeenkomt met het nummer op het buisje met teststrips. Het nieuwe
codenummer wordt circa drie seconden knipperend op het scherm weergegeven, vervolgens stopt
het even met knipperen en wordt het scherm BLOED OPBRENGEN weergegeven.
Als de codes al overeenkomen, drukt u op om naar het scherm BLOED OPBRENGEN te gaan. Als u
na vijf seconden geen wijziging hebt aangebracht, wordt het scherm BLOED OPBRENGEN weergegeven.
Markeer de test als een test met controlevloeistof
Druk op
om BLOED OPBRENGEN te wijzigen in BRENG CTRL AAN. Geef deze
markering aan voordat u de controlevloeistof aanbrengt. Nadat u de test hebt
uitgevoerd, kunt u de markering niet meer wijzigen.
De meter is nu klaar om een test met controlevloeistof uit te voeren.
LET OP: Neem de controlevloeistof niet in; deze is niet bedoeld voor menselijke consumptie. Breng de controlevloeistof
niet aan op de huid of de ogen; dit kan irritatie veroorzaken.
• Voer een test met controlevloeistof uit:
– als u een nieuw buisje met teststrips opent;
– als u vermoedt dat de meter en de teststrips niet juist
werken;
– als u herhaaldelijk onverwachte bloedglucoseresultaten
krijgt;
– als u de meter hebt laten vallen of als deze is beschadigd.
OPMERKING:
• Gebruik uitsluitend OneTouch® Ultra® controlevloeistof bij
uw OneTouch® Ultra® 2 meter.
• Tests met controlevloeistof moeten worden uitgevoerd
bij kamertemperatuur (20–25 °C). Zorg dat de meter, de
teststrips en de controlevloeistof op kamertemperatuur zijn
voordat u de test uitvoert.
• Noteer als u het buisje teststrips voor de eerste keer opent
de uiterste gebruiksdatum (3 maanden nadat het buisje
voor het eerst is geopend) op het etiket van het buisje.
