TIME Control: Sets up a period of time to exercise. (Except in Program 8)
DISTANCE Control: Sets up a certain distance to exercise. (Except in Program 8)
Heart Rate Control: Keeps user to exercise under a safe heart-beating condition
Pulse Rate: The computer will display your current heart rate figures and a flash heart
symbol in 4-5 seconds after you hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors during

handlebar grip sensors with two hands instead of just with one hand only when you try to test
your heart rate figures.
Manual Program:
PROGRAM 1 is a manual program. Press the ENTER button to select TIME, DISTANCE,
CALORIES, or AGE for target pre-setting. Then press the UP or DOWN button to adjust
the values. The initial level of loading is 6. After pressing the START/STOP button to
exercise, please also hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors during exercise. User
may exercise in any desire level by pressing the UP or DOWN button. With the input of age,
the computer may suggest a target heart rate to exercise. The suggested heart rate is 70%

For example, if you are 30 years old, your calculations will be as follows:
220 - 30 = 190 (maximum heart rate)
190 x 70% (0.70) = 133 (70% of your maximum heart rate)
30 year-old (THR) Target Heart Rate would be 133
If the heart rate detected equal to or greater than the TARGET H.R., the value of HEART
RATE will keep flashing. Please note that it is a warning for user to slow down or to
lower the level of loading.
If you pre-set target values of TIME, DISTANCE, or CALORIES, the values will count down.
When one of the values of TIME, DISTANCE, or CALORIES counts down to 0, the computer
will begin beeping to remind you and will stop operating. Press START/STOP button to
