preset target time and then start to exercise, time starts counting down from preset
target time to 0:00 per 1 second backward. When the preset target time counts down
to 0:00, time will start to count up immediately and the computer will begin beeping to
remind you.
6. DIST (DISTANCE): Displays the accumulative distance traveled during workout.
When you start to exercise, distance starts counting up from 0.0 to 99.9KM/MILE per
0.1KM/MILE increment. You may also preset target distance before training. Press
ENTER key to select DISTANCE function when it is flash and then press UP or DOWN
key to preset target distance. Each increment is 0.1km. The preset target distance
range is from 0.0 to 999.0KM/MILE. Once you preset target distance and then start to
exercise, distance starts counting down from preset target distance to 0.0 per
0.1KM/MILE backward. When the preset target distance counts down to 0.0, distance
will start to count up immediately and the computer will begin beeping to remind you.
7. CAL (CALORIES): Displays the total accumulated calories burned during workout.
When you start to exercise, calories start counting up from 0 to 9999 calories per 1
calorie increment. You may also preset target calories before training. Press ENTER
key to select CALORIES function when it is flash and then press UP or DOWN key to
preset target calories. Each increment is 10 calories. The preset target calories
range is from 10 to 9990 calories. Once you preset target calories and then start to
exercise, calories start counting down from preset target calories to 0 per 1 calorie
backward. When the preset target calories count down to 0, calories will start to count
up immediately and the computer will begin beeping to remind you. (This data is a
rough guide for comparison of different exercise sessions and should not be used in
medical treatment).
8. RPM (Revolutions Per Minute): Your pedal cadence.
9. PULSE: The computer will display your current heart rate figures in 4-5 seconds after
you hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors during exercise. If you do not hold
both two hands on handlebar grip sensors, the computer will display RPM.
10. PULSE RECOVERY: After exercising for a period of time press PULSE RECOVERY
key. Immediately hold both two hands on handlebar grip sensors. The computer will
stop all function displays except "time" which will be counting down from 0:60 to 0:00.
As soon as 0:00 is reached the computer will display your heart rate status with a grade
of F1.0, F2.0, or F6.0. Use this information to track improvements in your heart rate
recovery over time. Press PULSE RECOVERY key again to return the main display.
Your ratings for Pulse Recovery are as follows:
1.0 means OUTSTANDING
1.0F2.0 means EXCELLENT
2.0F2.9 means GOOD
3.0F3.9 means FAIR
4.0F5.9 means BELOW AVERAGE
6.0 means POOR
Note: If no pulse signal input then the computer will show “P” on the PULSE window. If
the computer shows “ERR” on the message window, please re-press PULSE
RECOVERY key and make sure your hands are holding well on handlebar grip sensors.
