2. Handlebar Post, Handlebar Post Cover, Seat Cushion, Seat Post, and Seat Post
Cover Installation
Remove five M8x15 Hexagon Socket Pan Head Bolts (69), four Ø8 Washers (21), and one
Ø16xØ8 Big Curve Washer (14) from the tube of the Main Frame (1). Remove bolts with
the 5mm Allen Wrench provided.
Slide the Handlebar Post Cover (23) up to the Handlebar Post (2).
Connect the Sensor Wire (66) from the Main Frame (1) to the Extension Sensor Wire (17)
from the Handlebar Post (2).
Put the cable end of resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (16) into the cable lock of
Tension Cable (25), see Figure A.
Pull the resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (16) up and force it into the slot of metal
bracket of Tension Cable (25), see Figure B.
Insert the metal fitting on the resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (16) into the hole at
the end of the slot in the metal bracket of Tension Cable (25), see Figure C.
Connect the resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (16) to Tension Cable (25) complete,
see Figure D.
Insert the Handlebar Post (2) onto the tube of the Main Frame (1) and secure with five
M8x15 Hexagon Socket Pan Head Bolts (69), four Ø8 Washers (21), and one Ø16xØ8 Big
Curve Washer (14) that were removed. First lightly tighten these five M8x15 Hexagon
Socket Pan Head Bolts (69) by hand. After all five M8x15 Hexagon Socket Pan Head Bolts
(69) are lightly tightened by hand, the next step is to tighten the front M8x15 Hexagon
Socket Pan Head Bolt (69) with the 5mm Allen Wrench until firm. Then tighten the other
four M8x15 Hexagon Socket Pan Head Bolts (69) on the side of the tube with the 5mm Allen
Wrench.
Slide the Handlebar Post Cover (23) down to the Handlebar Post (2).
Remove three Ø8 Washers (21) and three M8 Nylon Nuts (22) from underside of the Seat
Cushion (20). Remove nylon nuts with the Multi Hex Tool with Phillips Screwdriver
provided. Guide bolts on underside of the Seat Cushion (20) through holes on top of the
Seat Post (4), attach with three removed Ø8 Washers (21) and three M8 Nylon Nuts (22).
