5.7 Fan
With the fan you can rapidly cool large quanti-
ties of fresh food or achieve a relatively even
distribution of temperature across all the
storage levels.
The forced-air cooling is to be recommended:

at high room temperature (above33 °C )
-
at high humidity
The forced-air cooling uses slightly more energy. To save
energy, the fan switches off automatically when the door is
open.
5.7.1 Switching on the fan

Press menu.

Press the navigation arrows until the fan is
displayed.

Press ON.

The fan is switched on.
5.7.2 To switch off the fan

Press the navigation arrows until the fan is
displayed.

Press OFF.

The fan is switched off.
If the compressor is running, the ventilator runs even if it is
switched off. It switches off automatically a few minutes after
the compressor runtime.
5.8 Holiday mode
The holiday mode saves energy and
prevents odour from occurring when the
door of the refrigerator compartment stays
closed for a lengthy period.
5.8.1 Switching on the Holiday function

Remove all food as otherwise it will spoil.

Press menu.
u
Press the navigation arrow until you see the
Holiday function.
u
Press ON.

The Holiday function is on.

The Holiday function symbol appears in the fridge
compartment field.
5.8.2 Switching off the Holiday function

In the fridge compartment field, press the Holiday
function symbol.

The Holiday function is off.

The temperature is set to the preset value again.
Down arrows show the temperature reduction.
5.9 Shelves
5.9.1 Moving or removing shelves
The shelves are prevented from being pulled out accidentally
by pull out stops.

Lift the shelf and pull forward a little.

Adjust the height of the shelf. To do this move the slots along
the supports.

In order to remove the shelf fully, place it at a slant and pull
out towards the front.
u
Insert shelf with the raised edge pointing upwards at the
back.

The food does not freeze onto the rear wall.
w
Food is prevented from falling out.
When storing and removing food on the top shelf, please pay
attention to the fold-out interior lighting.
Do not store any goods on the humidity regulation plate of the
bottom shelf.
5.9.2 Dismantling shelves

The shelves can be
dismantled for cleaning.
5.10 Using the sectioned shelf

Pull the glass plates out forwards one by one.
u
Remove the support from the catch mechanism and click
into place at the required height.
