5.5.4 Storing food
Note
uDo not put the following in the BioFresh section: cold-
sensitive vegetables including cucumbers, aubergines,
tomatoes, courgettes and any cold-sensitive tropical
fruits.
uTo prevent food spoilage due to transfer of germs: Store
unwrapped animal and vegetable products separate from
one another in the drawers. This also applies to different
sorts of meat.
If food has to be stored together due to lack of space:
uwrap the food.
uStoring high-moisture content foods: shake off the mois‐
ture beforehand.
If there is too much moisture in the compartment:
uselect the low moisture setting.

uRemove any excess moisture with a cloth.

5.5.6 Setting the temperature in the BioFresh
compartment.
Recommended refrigerator setting: 5 °C. The BioFresh
temperature is controlled automatically and is between 0 °C
and 3 °C.
The temperature can be set slightly colder or slightly
warmer. The temperature can be set from level 1 (lowest
temperature) to level 9 (highest temperature). The default
setting is level 5. With levels 1 - 4 the temperature can drop
to below 0 °C so that the food can freeze.
uPress menu.
uPress the navigation arrow until BioFresh is
displayed.

Press .
wThe following screen is displayed:

uSetting the level: Press plus or minus.
The minus symbol is greyed out when the lowest level is
selected.
The plus symbol is greyed out when the highest level is
selected.
uConfirm the required level with OK.
wThe display switches to the home screen.
