De compatibiliteit van deze recorder met DivX-schijfjes heeft
de volgende beperkingen:
• De resolutie van het DivX-bestand is maximaal 720x576 (B x H) pixels.
• De bestandsnaam van de DivX is maximal 56 karakters.
• Als er een onbekende code wordt bebruikt in het DivX-bestand, kan
het weergegeven worden als “_” op het display.
• Als het aantal beeldframe’s meer is dan 30 per seconde zou het
apparaat niet (normaal) kunnen werken.
• Als de video- en audiostruktuur van het opgenomen bestand niet
goed is gescheiden, wordt of alleen beeld dan wel alleen geluid
weergegeven.
• Als het bestand is opgenomen met GMC, ondersteunt het appa-
raat alleen 1-punt van het opname niveau.

GMC?
GMC is de afkorting voor Global Motion Compensation. Het is een
coderingstool gespecificeerd in MPEG4-standaard. Sommige MPEG4-
codes zoals DivX , hebben deze optie.
Er zijn verschillende niveau’s van GMC-codering, normaal genoemd 1-
punt, 2-punt of 3-punt GMC.
