MODE
Selects the remote operating mode: TV, VCR, DVD, CABLE,
STB or AUDIO. Select other operating modes, for the remote to
operate external devices.
15. MUTE
Switches the sound on or off.
16. Q.VIEW
Returns to the previously viewed programme.
Selects a favorite programme.
17. SSM (Sound Status Memory)
Recalls your preferred sound setting.
18. PIP BUTTONS
PIP/POP/PBP
Switches the sub picture select PIP, POP, PBP or off modes.
PIP PR +/-
Selects a programme for the sub picture.
SWAP
Alternates between main and sub picture.
PIP INPUT
Selects the input mode for the sub picture.
WIN.SIZE
Adjusts the sub picture size.
WIN POSITION
Moves the sub picture to

19. EXIT
Exits from each mode.
20. I/II
Selects the language during dual language broadcast.
Selects the sound output.
Note: In teletext mode, the PIP PR -/+, SWAP and PIP INPUT but-
tons are used for teletext function.

Installing Batteries
• Open the battery compartment cover on the back side and insert
two 1.5V AA size batteries in correct polarity (+ with +, - with -).
• Don’t mix old or used batteries with new ones.
• Close the cover.
