Ga als volgt te werk om toegang te krijgen tot de Embedded Web Server:
1 Typ het IP-adres van de printer in het adresveld van uw webbrowser.
Opmerking: Als u het IP-adres van de printer niet weet, drukt u een netwerkconfiguratiepagina af en zoekt u het
IP-adres op in het TCP/IP-gedeelte.
2 Klik op een van de tabs om informatie over de printer te openen, instellingen te wijzigen of een rapport te bekijken.
Opmerking: Als de printer is aangesloten op een computer met een parallelle of USB-kabel, opent u vervolgens het
Hulpprogramma voor lokale-printerinstellingen voor Windows of Printerinstellingen voor Macintosh.
E-mailmeldingen instellen
U kunt instellen dat de printer een e-mailbericht verzendt wanneer supplies op raken of wanneer het papier moet
worden vervangen, toegevoegd of verwijderd.
U stelt als volgt e-mailmeldingen in:
1 Typ het IP-adres van de printer in het adresveld van uw webbrowser.
Opmerking: als u het IP-adres van de printer niet weet, drukt u een netwerkconfiguratiepagina af en zoekt u het
IP-adres in het TCP/IP-gedeelte.
2 Klik op Settings (Instellingen).
3 Klik bij Overige instellingen op E-mail Alert Setup (Instellingen e-mailmeldingen).
4 Selecteer de items waarvoor u meldingen wilt ontvangen en typ de e-mailadressen waarop u e-mailmeldingen wilt
ontvangen.
5 Klik op Submit (Verzenden).
Opmerking: neem contact op met de systeembeheerder om de e-mailserver in te stellen.
Meldingen over supplies configureren
U kunt opgeven hoe u meldingen wilt ontvangen wanneer supplies bijna leeg zijn of wanneer de levensduur van supplies
is verstreken.
U configureert meldingen over supplies als volgt via de Embedded Web Server:
1 Typ het IP-adres van de printer in het adresveld van uw webbrowser.
Opmerking: als u het IP-adres van de printer niet weet, drukt u een netwerkconfiguratiepagina af en zoekt u het
IP-adres op in het TCP/IP-gedeelte.
2 Klik op Settings (Instellingen).
3 Klik op Print Settings (Afdrukinstellingen).
4 Klik op Supply Notifications (Meldingen over supplies).
5 Selecteer in de keuzelijsten voor de afzonderlijke supplies de gewenste meldingsoptie. Voor elke optie wordt een
uitleg gegeven.
6 Klik op Submit (Verzenden) om uw selecties op te slaan.
