5 Selecteer Bonjour of Rendezvous bij Collecties en dubbelklik op de printernaam.
Opmerking: De applicatie heeft de naam Rendezvous in Mac OS X versie 10.3, maar heet nu Bonjour bij Apple
Computer.
6 Ga vanaf de hoofdpagina van de Embedded Web Server naar de pagina waar de informatie over de draadloze
instellingen is opgeslagen.
De printer configureren voor draadloze toegang
1 Typ de naam van uw netwerk (SSID) in het daarvoor bedoelde veld.
2 Selecteer Infrastructuur als uw Netwerkmodus als u gebruikmaakt van een draadloze router.
3 Selecteer het type beveiliging dat u wilt gebruiken om uw draadloze netwerk te beschermen.
4 Voer de beveiligingsinformatie in die nodig is om de printer toe te voegen aan uw draadloze netwerk.
5 Klik op Submit (Verzenden).
6 Open de AirPort-toepassing op uw computer:
In Mac OS X versie 10.5 en later
a
Kies vanuit het Apple-menu Systeemvoorkeuren.
b Klik op Netwerk.
c Klik op AirPort.
In Mac OS X 10.4 en eerder
a
Kies in de Finder Ga > Programma's.
b Dubbelklik in de map Programma's op Internetverbinding.
c Klik in de werkbalk op AirPort.
7 Selecteer vanuit het pop-upvenster Netwerk uw draadloze netwerk.
Configureer uw computer voor draadloos gebruik van de printer
Als u wilt afdrukken op een netwerkprinter, moet elke Macintosh-gebruiker een aangepast PPD-bestand (Postscript
Printer Description) installeren en een afdrukwachtrij maken in Printerconfiguratie of Afdrukbeheer.
1 Installeer een PPD-bestand op de computer:
a Plaats de cd Software en documentatie in het cd-rom- of dvd-romstation
b Dubbelklik op het printerinstallatiepakket.
c Klik in het welkomstvenster op Ga door.
d Klik nogmaals op Ga door nadat u het Leesmij-bestand hebt gelezen.
e Lees de licentieovereenkomst door, klik op Ga door en klik vervolgens op Akkoord om hiermee akkoord te gaan.
f Kies een bestemming en klik op Ga door.
g Klik in het scherm Standaard op Installeer.
h Voer het gebruikerswachtwoord in en klik vervolgens op OK.
Alle benodigde software is op de computer geïnstalleerd.
i Klik op Close (Sluit) wanneer de installatie is voltooid.
