DE ROLZOOM
Bij deze steek wordt het randje
van de stof naar binnen gerold.
De spanning van de ondergrijper
moet hiervoor iets strakker gezet
worden. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de
bovengrijperdraad het randje van
de stof om de achtergebleven
stekentong heen trekt. Nadat u
de stappen 1 tot en met 6 heeft
doorlopen, zet u de draadspan-
ningen op de volgende standen:
- bovengrijper op 4-6
- ondergrijper op 5-7
- rechter naald op 4
Afhankelijk van het gebruikte
garen en materiaal kunt u de
spanning nog iets variëren.

OVERLOCKSTEEK
Dit is een decoratieve manier om
de rand van een stof af te werken.
Nadat u de stappen 1 tot en met
6 zoals eerder beschreven heeft
doorlopen, stelt u de spanning zo
in dat u een normale drie-draads
overlocksteek krijgt. De aanbevo-
len spanning is 4, voor alle span-
ningsknoppen. Afhankelijk van het
gebruikte garen en materiaal kunt
u de spanning nog iets variëren.

EDGE STITCH
This application rolls the edge
of the fabric inside of the hem
stitch. The lower looper tension
should be tightened. This pulls the
upper looper thread causing the
edge of the fabric to fold around
the remaining stitch finger. After
completing steps 1 through 6, adjust
your machine to these recom-
mended thread tension settings:
- upper looper thread tension
at 4-6
- lower looper thread tension
at 5-7
- right needle thread tension
at 4
Tension may vary slightly according
to the fabric and thread used.
TO DO NARROW
OVERLOCK STITCH
This is a decorative application used
for finishing the edge of the fabric.
After completing step 1 through 6,
adjust the thread tension to achieve
a normal 3-thread overlock stitch.
Recommended thread tension setting
for all thread tension dials are 4.
Tension may vary slightly according
to the fabric and thread used.

DER SCHMALE
OVERLOCKSTICH
Der schmale Overlockstich eignet
sich als dekorativer Abschluss Stoffe.
Nachdem Sie Schritt 1-6 ausgeführt
haben, stellen Sie die Spannung
so ein, dass Sie einen normalen
dreifädigen Overlockstich haben.
Die empfohlene Spannung ist 4 für
alle Knöpfe. Abhängig von Fäden
und Materialien können Sie die
Spannung noch etwas variieren.
