Nadat u het RAID-volume hebt verwijderd, wordt het venster Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology
weergegeven. Lidstations van het verwijderde volume worden weergegeven onder Non-RAID Physical
Disks.
5. Druk op F10 om de wijzigingen op te slaan en af te sluiten.
Opslagstations opnieuw instellen op niet-RAID
In dit onderwerp vindt u instructies voor het opnieuw instellen van opslagstations op niet-RAID met het
configuratieprogramma Intel RST.
Attentie: Alle bestaande gegevens die op het geselecteerde station zijn opgeslagen, worden gewist zodra u
een station opnieuw hebt ingesteld op niet-RAID.
Om een opslagstation opnieuw in te stellen op niet-RAID, gaat u als volgt te werk:
1. Open het configuratieprogramma Intel RST. Zie 'Het configuratieprogramma Intel RST openen' op
pagina 76.
2. Selecteer met de pijltoetsen Omhoog en Omlaag het volume dat u opnieuw wilt instellen onder RAID
Volumes. Druk op Enter om het venster RAID VOLUME INFO te openen.
3. Selecteer met de pijltoetsen Omhoog en Omlaag het station dat u opnieuw wilt instellen onder RAID
Member Disks. Druk op Enter om het venster PHYSICAL DISK INFO te openen.
4. Selecteer Reset to Non-RAID en druk op Enter. Druk op Yes om het opnieuw instellen te bevestigen als
dat wordt gevraagd.
Nadat het opnieuw instellen is voltooid, wordt het venster Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology
weergegeven. Het opnieuw ingestelde station wordt weergegeven onder Non-RAID Physical Disks.
Het volume van het station wordt nog steeds weergegeven onder RAID Volumes, maar de status is
gewijzigd van Normal in Failed of Degraded.
5. Druk op F10 om de wijzigingen op te slaan en af te sluiten.
RAID 1-volumes herstellen
Als de status van een RAID 1-volume Failed of Degraded is, kunt u het opnieuw opbouwen met het
configuratieprogramma Intel RST. Om een RAID 1-volume opnieuw op te bouwen, dient ten minste één
lidstation van het RAID 1-volume correct te werken. Vervang het defecte station door een nieuw station met
dezelfde capaciteit voordat u een RAID 1-volume opnieuw opbouwt.
U herstelt een RAID 1-volume als volgt:
1. Open het configuratieprogramma Intel RST. Zie 'Het configuratieprogramma Intel RST openen' op
pagina 76.
2. Selecteer met de pijltoetsen Omhoog en Omlaag het volume dat u opnieuw wilt opbouwen onder RAID
Volumes. Druk op Enter om het venster RAID VOLUME INFO te openen.
3. Selecteer Rebuild en druk op Enter om het venster Rebuild Volume te openen.
4. Selecteer het station dat u opnieuw wilt opbouwen en druk op Enter om het opbouwproces te starten.
Nadat u het opbouwproces hebt gestart, wordt het venster Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology
weergegeven. Bij het RAID 1-volume dat opnieuw wordt opgebouwd, wordt onder RAID Volumes de
tekst Rebuilding weergegeven.
5. Wacht enkele minuten. Als het opbouwproces is geslaagd, verandert de tekst Rebuilding in Normal.
6. Druk op F10 om de wijzigingen op te slaan en af te sluiten.
