Chapter 1. Getting to know your computer

Integrated camera
Use the camera for video communication or taking photos.

Keyboard light
The keyboard light enables you to use your computer when the lighting
condition is not ideal.
Notes:
You can enable/disable the keyboard light by pressing Fn + Space.
Avoid using your computer in dark lighting conditions for prolonged periods. It is bad for your eyes.

The computer display with LED backlight provides brilliant visual output.

Fingerprint reader
Scans fingerprints for Windows login or quick launch of applications.
Notes:
Fingerprints must be registered in advance using the Lenovo Smart Fingerprint software. If all your
fingerprints have been registered, you may swipe any of your fingers on the fingerprint reader to log into
Windows. You also can associate applications to fingers so that you can quickly launch an application by
swiping a finger on the fingerprint reader. For details, refer to the on-screen instruction of the software.
You must set a password for your Windows account before you can register your fingerprints.

Touchpad
The touchpad functions as a conventional mouse.
One piece multi-touch ClickPad: To move the pointer on the screen,
slide your fingertip over the pad in the direction in which you want the
pointer to move.
Left-click area: Clicking in this area corresponds to the functions of
clicking the left button on a conventional mouse.
Right-click area: Clicking in this area corresponds to the functions of
clicking the right button on a conventional mouse.
Note: You can enable/disable the touchpad by pressing F6 ( ).
