[Sports]
This mode is for pictures of scenes with fast movement, e.g. sports.
Tip
Stand at least 5 m (16 feet) away.
Note
The shutter speed may slow down up to 1 second.
[Night Portrait]
This mode is for pictures of people and nightscapes with close to actual
brightness.
Tips
Use flash.
The subject should not move.
Using a tripod and/or the self-timer is recommended.
Notes
The shutter speed may slow down up to 8 seconds.
After recording, the shutter may stay closed (up to 8 seconds) to process the
signal. This is not a malfunction.
[Night
Scenery]
This mode is for sharp pictures of night scenes.
Tip

Night Shot]

After the shutter release button is pressed, serial exposures commence. Hold
the camera still during the complete process.
Note
Since a series of still pictures are combined after they are recorded, it will take
a few moments before you can take another picture.
