Geachte klant

Leica dankt u voor de aanschaf van de Leica S en feliciteert u met deze

beslissing. U hebt met deze unieke digitale middenformaat-spiegelreﬂex-

camera een uitstekende keuze gemaakt.

Wij wensen u veel plezier en succes bij het fotograferen met uw nieuwe

Leica S.

Om de mogelijkheden van deze camera volledig te kunnen benutten,

adviseren wij u eerst deze handleiding te lezen.

Uw Leica Camera AG

Deze handleiding werd op 100% chloorvrij-gebleekt papier gedrukt, waarvan het kost-

bare productieproces het oppervlaktewater ontziet en daarmee het milieu spaart.

Opmerking

Leica werkt voortdurend aan de verdere ontwikkeling en optimalisering

van de Leica S. Omdat bij digitale camera’s zeer veel functies uitsluitend

elektronisch worden gestuurd, kunnen verbeteringen en uitbreidingen

van functies naderhand in de camera worden geïnstalleerd. Om deze

reden biedt Leica in onregelmatige intervallen zogenaamde ﬁrmware-

updates aan. De camera's worden in principe al in de fabriek met de

nieuwste ﬁrmware uitgerust, maar u kunt deze ook zelf op eenvoudige

wijze van onze homepage downloaden en op uw camera overdragen.

Als u zich als eigenaar op de Leica Camera homepage registreert, dan

wordt u via de newsletter van de beschikbaarheid van een ﬁrmware-

update op de hoogte gesteld.

Verdere informatie omtrent de registratie en de ﬁrmware-updates van uw

Leica S evenals eventuele wijzigingen en toevoegingen bij de uitleg in de

handleiding vindt u in het „Owners’ Login“ onder:

Of uw camera en uw objectieven met de nieuwste ﬁrmwareversie zijn

uitgerust, kunt u in het menupunt
